Great weekend getaway

My family of 6 stayed for 2 nights at this charming house. The owner stayed in the basement the first night, and we enjoyed getting to know a little more about her and the area. Definitely would stay again.

Great location. It felt very homey and had a lot of extras in the kitchen that would have been great if we would have stayed longer. We didn’t realize the owner lived downstairs, though that wasn’t really an issue; just unexpected. Overall a great stay.

Really enjoyed staying in this historic property! Close access to everything. Could get pretty much everywhere on foot or a short drive. Great time of year to be up on the Shore as well! Prompt communications with the host throughout our stay.

Cozy home with a great location for many Duluth attractions. Would definitely stay here again. Would have been a tight fit for sleeping arrangements for six, but with only three, it was comfy. Kind and communicative host.

Great Loction

Nice classic home to stay in. There is a coop grocery with deli close by. Easy walk to downtown and the lake area. Stairs to the bedrooms a bit steep, but manageable as long as you are mobile enough.

My cat Norman and I live in the basement of the house. I enjoy living in Duluth and doing all the outdoors actives. I like to do pottery and lampwork. I enjoy sharing our great city with all my guests.

Why they chose this property

I suppose I am biased but I have put tons of work into this house! I did most of it myself with some help from friends and my nephew Thomas. I think it is quaint and comfortable, love the backyard and the location!
