Great property with all the essentials for a great stay. Loved kayaking in the sound, sitting in the swing, and enjoying the quality family time. Host gave us so many things to know about the area. Things to do, places to eat, and where to get things we may need.

The property is beautifully decorated and stocked with anything you may need! Being on the waterfront was very relaxing and we enjoyed the quiet immensely. It was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the game room, which is awesome! We had Wii championships!We also went on a wild horse tour, played golf, and went to Kitty Hawk/Wright Brothers museum, and walked up the large hill to the huge memorial. Steffen and Cherry were attentive hosts that always responded quickly. Thank you for sharing your home on the water!Patty and Tim

Our stay at this hidden gem on Bells Island was nothing short of magical. Tucked away right on the shores of the Currituck Sound, this VRBO provided the ultimate peaceful coastal escape. If you are looking to trade crowded beaches for undisturbed tranquility, this is the perfect destination.The highlight of the home was undoubtedly its expansive back deck and private dock. We spent our mornings sipping coffee as the mist lifted off the calm water, and our evenings captivated by spectacular, unobstructed sunset views that painted the sky in brilliant hues of orange and pink. The Sound's shallow, gentle waters made it incredibly easy to launch kayaks and paddleboards right from the property, offering hours of effortless outdoor fun.Crabbing from the dock with 2- provided crab traps and 5 collapsible crab traps I purchased provided us with approximately 12 blue claw crabs per day. What crab boils we had!Inside, the house was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to maximize the stunning waterfront backdrop. Large windows flooded the living space with natural light, ensuring we never missed a view. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking family meals, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable after long days spent out in the sun.While the property felt wonderfully secluded and quiet, it was comforting to know that local seafood spots, grocery stores and the outer banks (OBX) were just a short drive away. We truly received the best of both worlds

Great location, features, and accommodations. The hosts were also very communicative and friendly. A great place to get away with friends and family, or even a solo trip. Oh…and the sunrises are beautiful out on the water, too!!

Wonderful getaway!

Great Place for a trip!

The house and amenities were fantastic. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved kayaking in the morning before we decided what area of the Outer Banks to visit each day.

Great place for a vacation

We overall enjoyed our stay at this house. The layout was great, the inside was clean and comfortable, the amenities were good! Communication with hosts was quick. However, we were disappointed because it was not really spring- ready; we had to wash out the canoes/ kayaks/ paddle boards of hundreds of spiders, wash the outside chairs to be able to use them, and all of the Wii remote batteries were dead with no replacements. Especially since all properties this particular weekend were up-charged due to the Coast Guard Marathon (which is why we were also traveling), it sucked to pay that much money to spend an hour and a half cleaning the advertised amenities. We would still recommend this house since most of the canoes should be good to go and it’s a great relaxing location!

Wonderful spring vacation!

Home was very clean, fully apportioned with household items, owner helped with check-in, very quick response, plenty of games and activities. Great vacation for northerners to enjoy the sunshine in the south!
