The Grounds
Half-acre of stunning waterfront on spring-fed Saddle Lake, which features 300 acres of clean water for swimming and a depth of 32', great for fishing and boating. Two kayaks, a canoe, and life jackets are included with your stay. Alternatively, bring your own jet skis or boat by putting them in the water at the Saddle Lake Public Boat Launch and then tie them up at our private dock.

The remaining 2 1/2 acres are an active family's paradise, and include:
- a combination pickleball/basketball court;
- all the equipment for softball games, including bases;
- beach volleyball; croquet, corn hole;
- a 6-7-person Jacuzzi hot tub;
- bocce ball court;
- a large park;
- a beautiful wooded area;
- a large fire pit with outdoor seating for 10; and,
- coming in late fall 2024, a 40'-long swimming pool!

The Houses
The 3800 sq-ft main house features four generously sized bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom: three on the second floor, one on the first. There is also an alcove twin bed in the office, and two others in various bedrooms. All bedrooms have black-out shades.

Some of the many amenities in the main house include:
- huge deck that wraps around three sides of the house;
- large living room, dining room, and porch;
- spacious, fully-equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, an induction range, a sizeable popcorn maker, and large island. Second refrigerator in laundry room.
- 11' indoor dining table and two outdoor dining tables for family meals;
- high chair and pack 'n play;
- 48" linear gas fireplace with safety screen to protect from the heat;
- large 65” flat-screen TV in the living room;
- three-season room with window walls to take in the stunning scenery;
- office with laptop and extra monitor;
- fiber internet;
- karaoke machine; and
- large mudroom/laundry room with two washers and two dryers.

A separate guest house stands behind the main house. This house has an 8’ pool table, flat screen TV, beverage area (no kitchen); a big full bathroom; and two bedrooms with five beds. The guest house will never be rented separately from the main house.

Additional amenities on the property include internet TV (stream basic channels or any of your own Netflix, Amazon, or other accounts), and Charge Point EV2 charger for those with electric cars.

All-Season Activities Right Outside Your Door
There are nearby trails for hiking or biking, including the 33-mile Kal-Haven trail. In winter, there is downhill skiing, ice skating, and more — make sure to bring your snow shoes, cross-country skis, or snowmobiles!

Saddle Lake is a quick 15-minute drive from Lake Michigan and the fabulous resort town of South Haven. There are loads of breweries, wineries, orchards, and berry-picking farms throughout the area. Antiquing, horseback riding, and other activities abound.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES can also be provided for an additional fee:
1. We will pre-stock the refrigerator for you prior to your arrival, or do shopping for you during your stay.
2. We can pick up dinner for you within 20 miles from the house, including South Haven, and will stop at more than one restaurant.
3. Additional house cleanings during your stay can also be arranged, for either full or partial cleans.

We have a strict no party policy - VRBO will be contacted immediately upon any noise violations, disruptive gatherings, or arrival of unauthorized guests.

Several family members have severe animal allergies. For this reason, we cannot allow any animals into our home.

The dock, watercraft, and outdoor furniture are seasonal, and generally not available mid-fall until Memorial Day
