This home is in the best location in South Haven; once you park your car there is no need to drive anywhere!

Our whole family greatly enjoyed the home and heated pool along with the closeness to the beach. All of the rooms were clean and there was plenty of space for the 16 of us to enjoy meals and relax. The owner Julia and her husband communicated very well with us letting us know they were always available for any questions we may have had.

Short walk to North Beach and plenty of room for our annual extended family vacation. Great owners with beautiful properties- clean, coastal and roomy. Our kids loved the double bunk bed room and we loved hanging out on the back patio.

A great family get away

We enjoyed our stay and having a view of the ocean. A short walk to water was great even though we were having winter at the time of our stay. Some of us also enjoyed the hot tub experience and or just lounging in basement. We had our kids and grandkids there and we all want to be back for the summer months.

We really enjoyed our time here at this VRBO. It was probably 100 feet or less from a great local bakery and coffee shop that had Starbucks coffee. Very clean location and spacious. Great view of the lake and close, walkable location to downtown. The owner was very communicative and flexible. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Summer Family Vacation Home

Fabulous home and pool. So much space for everyoneto relax and enjoy their vacations. The bedrooms and living areas were spacious and spotless. Beach is literally a 3 minute walk. (if that) Pool was sparkling clean and was somuch fun for everyone. The outdoor space is incredible with the gas grill, giant umbrellas and still room to roast marshmallows. Privacy fence around the pool. The views of the sunset are so peaceful at the end of an active day. The little town provides a nice walk for everyone and so many special shops...vacationers and residents could not have been nicer and more friendly. We had children under 2 through adults over 60 and every single person LOVED THIS HOME.

Perfect place for family!!!

Our family includes infants up to a 93 yr old and we could not have had a more perfect place to spend our beach vacation. From a fenced in back yard with plenty of seating and fire table to dining and lounging space inside to spacious bedrooms and fun finished basement... it was super great!!! The owner was so wonderful to communicate with and easily accessible.

The house was everything as advertised. 11 in our group from grandparents to 9 year old. The pool and the hot tub were the major satisfaction items. Communication with the host was easy and timely. The location in regards to North beach, three parks, and downtown was superb in that all were easy walks. Parking was good. Actual house was clean and recently (couple of years) renovated with new appliances. We ate in all dinners.

Wonderfully Furnished

This South Haven home offered everything our family of 14 were looking to have. The new pool and area were well furnished with umbrellas and tables for eating and relaxing. Location is perfect with a few minute walk to the beach. Local bakery was a 2 minute walk. Julia, our host was more than gracious with her time and the furnishings in this home. Towels, linens, appliances, kitchenware were all luxurious, and in abundant supply. This home offered more than the average beach rental. Kids enjoyed pool table and ping pong table in lower level. It is a very comfortable and accommodating home hosted by very gracious people.

Spacious South Haven Home

Our party of 14 girls had a wonderful time in South Haven. We truly utilized every square inch of space for meals, fun, games, and lounging. The layout is perfect for large groups and allows everyone to be together at once--in a number of settings! The large dining room table, the cozy basement sitting area, the patio, and the upstairs living room were wonderful for our weekend get-away. The two bathrooms were a tight, understandably so, when we tried to get ready around the same time, and the firepit wasn't working, but due to the noise ordinance and the warm weather, it wasn't much of an issue. We cooked multiple meals at the house and were pleased to use the supplied kitchen tools and ample counter space. Julia kindly recommended we bring cups and paper plates which was a great suggestion--it definitely helped with clean up. The nearby convenience store and coffee shop next door were also hits with our group. We couldn't have been more pleased, and I recommend Julia's home to anyone looking for a comfortable, homey lake house for a group getaway. I hope to return with our group and even my big family sometime, too! Thank you Julia!!

We live in Chicago's North Shore suburbs and stare across the lake remembering great times in South Haven.

This location is ideal as you are less than a 5 minute walk to the beach (no stairs to climb) with white sandy beaches and quick 10 min walk to town where there are lovely shops and restaurants/bars.
