We loved the view of the water right off of the porch. The house was clean but a little worn. The kitchen cabinets have paint chipped off, the towels were not of the best quality and I did not find the beds very comfortable. My husband did not have an issue with the mattress. Duck Key is a little drive from grocery stores and most places in Marathon. Just be aware of this. Overall we loved the neighborhood and the view and it worked out well for our stay.
This was our first visit to the keys. The condo was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect. The views were breathtaking! The manatee that decided to hang out behind our unit on our last day was a real treat. We hope to visit again soon.
We enjoyed our stay. The Villa was clean. The kitchen was well equipped enabling us to cook a couple of days. Communication with the owner was very good
Canal side location was great as it was protected from the current. Dedicated dock was a 200-foot walk from the Villa, but it was nice with a nearby hose bib and a dock-mounted ladder for low tide. Would certainly recommend and we'll stay here again someday.
We love this property. You step out the backdoor and you see a beautiful dock and that breathtaking water. The villa is very clean and well and up to date. The host gets back to you right away if you have any questions. We always make sure we stay at the spot every time we visit the Florida Keys.
We rented this villa for a trip for our son’s birthday. It is located in a great spot - close to Marathon and Islamorada as well as Key West for a day trip. The villa is as described - the porches offer beautiful views, the kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook any meals and we had friendly neighbors while there. Frank the homeowner was excellent to work with and prompt in replies when I had questions. We hope to travel to the Keys again soon & would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay so much- the resort, the location and the unit. We loved the back deck and dock area, we had a daily visit by two manatee.. we didn’t bring a boat and still enjoyed the dock area. The unit itself needs a little attention..minor things that leave not the best first impression. Even so it is well appointed and comfortable- make sure to BYO shampoo!
Everything in the pictures are exact, we went down for 5 days/ 4 nights and brought our boat with us. We were able to keep the boat right out back tied off to the dock with water access, lighting and with it being very close to the house it was easy to keep an eye on with the storms or just checking on the boat. If I had any questions the manager Frank always replied ASAP. I 10/10 recommended to stay here! It fit us 5 comfortably and the balcony out back was also very nice to relax on and look out over the water!
Owner or property manager was very responsive. We had some problems at check-in, they also definitely need to add some extra pillows and blankets as there was nothing available for the person sleeping on the couch, the kitchen is lacking in utensils, and is pretty beat up and there is no access to any pool which is tough in the keys. It’s great location and the dock is awesome but it definitely needs a little bit of investment & TLC by the owner to bring it up to the level that it should be

The porches were the best aspect of the property. Upstairs bathroom switches not all working. Property needs updating . Coffee maker needs adjusting regarding on button
Please this is my 2nd time staying at this property & regrettably the outside Terraza lights are NOT working ... I don't see this a big deal, but it's been 3 months & still broken, not fixed.

Not good deal
This is not a good rental deal. Too expensive and we cannot access the pools or any property facilities. Our family was disappointed. And it wasn’t clean the time we arrived.
Our door was programed with our pre-selection of a 4 digit code. It was super easy to gain access and then it was all uphill from there! Every unit has a tie-up for a boat and there were a few which came in at the end of the day with happy sport fishermen, and other peeps fishing off the dock. It was a bit confusing as you come through a guard house onto the property. Our rental was not part of the "Club", but was sort of in the middle of the "Club" amenities. Our unit had a great set up with an outside deck on both floors and a full bath for both br. We had a fantastic time!

Not comfy, not equipped for cooking, no tv stations, over priced
Have stayed at multiple of these properties in duck key and have to say this was disappointing. Barely enough kitchen supplies to cook a meal and low quality knifes and teflon pans were falling apart. Pillows were god awful, no tv stations, and very over priced. Communication was great, but boat slip was additional charge and not right in front of the unit. Windows are rotted through, sliding glass door was off tracks and ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. Couch cushions were stained and remotes for lights and tvs did not work properly.
I just want to clarify that the coffee maker is a drip machine that uses round filters. It appears we were not the first guests to buy several types of filters just in case, there is a large stockpile of them above the stove.
This on one of the easiest vrbo rentals we've done in the US. Frank was great to work with, responsive and everything was in working order and as pictured.
Lovely location in the middle keys.
