Beautiful Place

Everything about the cabin is superb. We lacked nothing for cooking and comfort. The area is wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet place to rest and watch the humming birds and chipmunks this is perfect!

The cabin is as described and worked great as a base camp for our fishing trip. Within 15 minutes of the dream stream and 11 mile. We also fished Wildcat canyon and caught a couple.

Amazing Quiet Vacation

This was one of the most amazing, quiet, relaxing vacations I've ever had. I really needed to unplug and get away from it all, and this place was magical. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous in answering my questions. The cabin was even nicer than what shows in the pics. The beds were super comfortable and there were soft warm throws to snuggle up in. I can't wait to come back with my husband!

Sportsman’s paradise

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this cabin and we have enjoyed it every time! The cabin is in a great location for fishing/hiking. You have happy meadows fishing in one direction and wildcat canyon the other direction. Melissa responds quickly and is very helpful if you have any questions. We will definitely be staying at this cabin every year!

My family absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. They were great hosts and had many things available for us during our stay. The cabin is perfect with great attention to detail! This little cabin is tricked out with all the amenities one could ever need, plus great access to the surrounding mountains, reservoirs and national parks. We loved it. The only draw back is that you can't actually see or hear the river from the cabin.

We had a great experience but we were initially under the impression that the cabin was on the river where we could fish. We found out at the last minute that the gated community didn’t allow guests to fish there.

Fishing trip

Friend and I stayed at the house for a fishing trip. The house fit our needs with each of us having a bedroom and there was a nice bathroom. There’s a two bedroom loft with a wooden ladder to get up to that we did not use. The house was very comfortable with two really comfy recliners in front of the TV for relaxing evenings.

Nice and peaceful setting

Nicely appointed cabin with peaceful if not remote setting. A bit of a run to get items in town and navigating a night a bit tricky, and finding the trash dump a bit of a ride. (Community should add some signage to assist) so make sure you stock up to save trips and have GPS access. All in all it was very nice place,but would definitely recommend some better lighting (track lighting) in kitchen and dining area.

Cozy Cabin

This was our 2nd stay. This cabin is cozy & quaint. Has everything you need. Melissa is always available for anything you may need. We spent some great time at Eleven Mile Canyon ($10 entry fee) but worth it. We caught lots of trout. There were kayaks enjoying the canyon. Rock climbers. Tons of tubing. "The great outdoors". We will return. Thanks Melissa for an enjoyable getaway.

Relaxing mountain stay

This property is in a gated sportsman community. The location is great, 45 min from Manitou Springs. There is a lot to see and do right around the cabin. There is hiking and fishing in the national forest, which is just a few minutes away. Hiking in the Wild Cat Canyon was great, especially the river with waterfalls. The cabin is fully renovated and is very well equipped. I would recommend going to the cabin before shopping. A lot of the basics will likely be there. All the furniture is comfortable and the bathroom is beautiful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a place to escape the hustle of everyday life and just relax.
