We loved our stay at the Silver Salmon Lodge! We have stayed at 9 different rental homes across the country and they all have been lovely, but this was the best experience because of the excellent host. The home is beautiful, the location was perfect and we felt so welcomed from the moment we booked because of how Doug was so kind and thoughtful to us as guests. He is an excellent communicator and made sure we always had everything we needed. He had great advice for local experiences, including hikes, food and fishing. The rabbit family that lives under the front deck kept us entertained for hours! Our children loved seeing the precious baby bunnies! We highly recommend you book your vacation at the Silver Salmon Lodge, you will love it!

The cabin was clean and beautiful and had everything we needed. Doug our host made himself available 24/7 and was incredibly thorough and helpful with all aspects of our stay. Highly recommend!

This property was quiet and secluded It felt like real Alaska to us. The beds are really comfortable after fishing all day The BBQ grill was excellent to use and the chefs kitchen was a joy.

Great Place

The place was the perfect base for exploring the Kenai Peninsula. The host is familiar with the area and was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Would definitely stay in the same place again.

Awesome cabin with everything you need. Doug was a great host, and having the fishing equipment available was a huge plus! Even had a moose walk thru on our 2nd night. Highly recommend!
