In the village of Volosko, not far from Opatija, lies this simply furnished semi-detached vacation apartment in a quiet location. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the sea. You can also reach the first beaches in Volosko on foot. In this village there are some excellent restaurants, pizzerias and cafe bars. The walkway along the sea stretches from Volosko, through the town of Opatija to Lovran. Experience numerous summer events for every generation in this region. A few quirks, but great views from the balcony

In reality a 3 bedroom property as the owner has a room for himself. The property was ok, and could be amazing with some easy fixes... A number of things were quirky, broken or simply non-existent. No hot water in the kitchen along with no washing up bowl meant washing up was done in the largest plastic bowl we could find in the cupboard, with hot water taken from the next door bathroom. No wifi despite it being advertised in the details. The owner tried to fix both these things, but unfortunately wasn't able to. He did however buy us a new BBQ when we pointed out that it was missing, for which we're grateful. There's also no shower curtain upstairs which does result in very wet floors on a daily basis! The downstairs shower has a strange smell but is fine. You might think from this long list that we had an awful time- we didn't - we had a lovely time and worked our way around the niggles. The owner, Daniel, was very apologetic and did at least try to put things right. The thing that makes this apartment is the first floor balcony which is big enough for table and chairs, sunbathing, BBQ and has amazing views. We lived out there in preference to the downstairs.
