It's a quiet place to relax. At the end of the 1/4 mile drive, you can access the ATV/Snowmobile trails. It's close to many lakes from musky fishing to pan fishing, for the hunter, deer, grouse. The property abuts the National Forest, and you can hike or bike the miles of trails right from the cottage.

Property was clean and well maintained. Our family had a great time hiking nearby trails with our dog and exploring the surrounding communities. Great spot for a weekend getaway.
Great place for a Wisconsin northwoods getaway with the family! We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the outdoors for the long Labor Day weekend! Definitely would recommend and would come back to stay!
The area was quiet, secluded and peaceful. The property was right next to the National Forest so we had lots to explore while we were snowshoeing. The inside of the cabin was cozy and very clean. We would recommend it.
Nice place to stay while exploring the area and beyond. There was an issue with the door lock but we got a solution figured out quickly- stuff happens. Got to watch deer from the front window while eating breakfast and then outside while having coffee in the early morning. Love the peace and quiet.
Place was very secluded. Loved that. Plenty of toilet paper, towels, kitchen utensils. There was firewood for fires outdoors. First load is free then $15 per load after. About 15-20 minutes to get to Eagle River. Only about 5 minutes from Phelps.
Phelps has a great little sweets/ice cream shop in town. and there is an awesome restaurant in the “country” called Sand Lake Pub. Highly recommend both.
No stores close to location
Door was not locked when we arrived and the lock did not work. There was a piece of wood to lock from inside, but needed to leave unlocked when left.
No real bedroom ... big room with beds in it, no privacy.
Always a great place to stay when you want to be away from people but don’t want to have to bother putting up a tent and fighting mosquitos. Gorgeous location, beautiful views, comfortable accommodations. We will be back!

We came up for the derby weekend in Eagle River my fiancé races snowmobiles. The place was AMAZING. I wish I could have stayed in the little cabin in the woods for a week. Chuck was very good at getting back to me in a timely manner anytime I asked a question. Would definitely come back!
We had a great visit with family and this place was just what we wanted. Great heating and air conditioning, fire pit, wood, and decorations. Perfect for 6, a bit tight if you were 8 though.
