We live close by in Austin and fell in love with Smithville a few years ago when a good friend provided us with a grand tour. We were blown away by the charm of the town and the homes within the Historic District, the quality of the restaurants, the quiet streets, the proximity to hiking and cycling in the State Parks, and exploring the small communities within 30 minutes in every direction. Exploring became a refuge for us during much of COVID times, and we became hooked!
We hope you love our home and this area as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for a property in the area and found this by accident when we rented it from the previous owner for a Round Top show. They had decided to sell and we were lucky enough to be the buyer and the recipient of their gorgeous renovation.

What makes this property unique

Well appointed, fully stocked kitchen
Super open floorplan, ideal for groups of 6-8
Walking distance to down town
Flexibility of having a detached guesthouse to rent
An awesome, local host
