This charming spot was impeccably clean with comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (a few staples and spices in the cupboard) and we loved the cool old stove!! We don’t have little kids any more but there were some books and toys for littleOnes. Close to Land Park, easy access. We will definitely stay again!
My two friends and I came in for a three day weekend. This house had everything we needed. The host was nice and very responsive. She checked in with me to make sure we had everything we needed. I would stay here again. It was very close to everywhere we needed to be.
We loved our stay in the comfortable, clean and quiet home. Beds were comfy, there were extra blankets, and plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked for breakfast and coffee (we didn’t cook so we didn’t notice cooking supplies but there were plenty of good quality knives, plates, utensils). Neighborhood is quiet and clean, and there is a walking path just behind the house. Alla was helpful and welcoming! We will definitely be back!
Alla was very helpful and responsive with any questions or needs we had.
Our family met up here to enjoy the week together. home was very comfortable and peaceful. Great to have a private back yard to play ball with our grandson. it was close to zoo and fairytale town. We cooked through the week- the oven is small and upper shelf slips out of groove sometimes; this is an antique stove and the upper cover was difficult to secure open at times but we were able to cook on stovetop. We had also essential kitchen utensils and pans.We would definitely come back to this quiet homey neighborhood and we felt safe.
This house is just perfect, in all ways. The location is amazing everything is 10-15 minutes or less. My 3 kids enjoyed the bunk beds and toys (didn’t know they had toys this was a plus) in the house and the backyard. The house itself is so cute with the older appliances yet updated modern feel I loved it. The two cons I would say they had was just the one tv and bathroom in the house. Other than that I would recommend and will be booking here again. Allá was always quick to respond to anything I asked and made sure we were taken care of.
Responsive, accommodating & adaptable host. This is our second stay and we will be staying again if in the area. Bed linens could be cleaner this time around(addressed with the host, hopefully the cleaners follow through) location gives easy access to the freeway and only 5 minutes from a target in case you forgot an item or two on your trip. There's a walking path behind the house so you can safely get some steps in and not feel guilty while enjoying all the food Sacramento has to offer. The House does have that "old home" smell, so if you're sensitive to smells you may want to bypass this home. But other than that this location will fit your needs. The neighborhood was quiet at night.
Accurate to listing. Easy access to interstate making it central to all areas. Driving in you do see some homes that make you question the neighborhood, but it was incredibly quiet & we felt safe at the property. Host was responsive. The home accommodated 2 adults and 2 children well for a brief stay. The kids appreciated the toys that were available (there were few and some were broken) The "play area" in the backyard is best suited for young toddlers, so we didn't use it. But it was nice to have a place the kids could at least run & stretch their legs from the long flight. I took off 1 star as the home has a musty smell you find in some old homes, it is particularly pungent in the bathroom which makes you think there's mildew/mold hiding. Didn't deter me from staying, obviously. Also some of the decorative pillows are stained as are the wash cloths. Again, didn't deter me from staying, the towels and sheets smelled clean. But seeing the stained pillows makes you wonder. Would 100% stay here again. I'm listing all issues I saw to help others in making their decision. None of these things were deal breakers for me, especially on a 1 night stay, but I know it matters to some.
Love this house! The location was wonderful! It’s close to river, zoo, park and in a lovely little neighborhood. The house was clean and everything we needed was there. King bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed all aspects of the house. Will definitely stay here again if in the Sacramento area and will happily refer our friends.

Place was very nice
The house is in a safe area, located near the iconic Land Park in central Sacramento. There is convenient access to Hwy 5. The house is very well equipped with obvious female touches. Very functional IKEA- like furniture but comfortable. The only difficulty I had was getting location information from the owner to direct my friends from Lo Angeles.
We had a wonderful stay in this sweet, upgraded, vintage-style home! Having a yard helped our kids get their energy out, plus there was a wonderful park within easy distance of the house. The interior was clean and just as the pictures showed, and cooking on the 1950's stove was amazing! It still works beautifully. There is no dishwasher, but for a few nights that's no big deal for us. Overall would highly recommend!
This was our second stay at this home with a family of 5. The location is perfect for those wanting a central quaint and quiet space. We caught the sunset on night on a levee walk and took a morning walk for coffee and croissants. The hosts are accommodating and easy to get a hold of. We will stay here again.
