Great property. The deck is AMAZING! The pictures don’t do it justice. Morning noon or night, an outstanding place to chill and look at the view of the water, the hills, the mountains, Mount Baker… And the location is great. COUPEVILLE is about as nice a place as I’ve ever visited.

We felt so special when we entered this beautiful home. It was clean, welcoming, and perfectly stocked. The view is unbelievable, and the birds were fun to watch and listen to. We will definitely return. Highly recommend!

This beach-side home is true not only to the VRBO listing but to many of the reviews. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the deck is divine! With comfortable seating on the deck (bolstered by some snuggly blankets) and several pairs of binoculars, we spent much of our time enjoying the view and the sounds of the birds. The proximity to other things on Whidbey is also excellent. Coupeville is 10 mins away. Fort Casey is a short drive cross island. We highly recommend the trailhead past the cemetery near the Ebey block house - the view over the national reserve farmland was picturesque and the bluff walk trail was a perfect afternoon adventure. Finally, Patte is a terrific host. She was very responsive to questions that came up ahead of time. She offered fresh eggs and honey from her farm and both were delicious. The info book in the house and the information on VRBO made check in and check out easy. We definitely hope to visit again and stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely love to return! The home’s coastal décor created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing seaside getaway—great for families or a girls’ trip like ours.The house was exceptionally well equipped. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and enjoy meals, especially fresh-caught seafood. A Keurig was available for morning coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise over the water. The view was beautiful, and we even spotted a local seal. Binoculars are provided for watching whales and other wildlife.There was plenty of entertainment, including a smart TV for connecting to our streaming accounts, lots of games, and a bedroom with an incredible collection of classic movies, a DVD changer, and hundreds of DVDs. The bedrooms were well stocked and also had plenty of extra bedding.There are quite a few secure steps leading to the beach, with a steep final section. The view from the beach is even more breathtaking and worth the walk, but guests with knee, hip, or mobility issues may find it difficult. I’d love to return with my husband, although the stairs would likely be too much for him, regardless he would love it anyway. The owner was welcoming and helpful, offering suggestions for things to do. We didn’t get to do a proper visit to her farm across the street but it added to the property’s unique charm. Overall, it was a fantastic experience in a thoughtfully equipped home. We would happily stay again.

My family and I had an awesome stay at Pattes place. The deck was so relaxing, and the view was amazing. We also loved the house and found it very cozy. I would definitely recommend staying.

We had another wonderful family Thanksgiving here. The view is outstanding and only made better by the 2 pods of orcas that passed by. The house is well stocked and really comfortable. Patte is a very welcoming host and we greatly appreciated her willingness to introduce our granddaughter the farm animals that she keeps across the street.

We loved everything about this property! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed. The star of the show is definitely the view, however! We spent our 20th anniversary here (with our dog, Zoey) and we were so happy with everything that we didn't feel like we needed to leave to experience Whidbey, but trips into Coupeville or Oak Harbor for groceries are very easy and the location of the house is excellent for exploring the island in any direction. Birdwatchers should definitely consider this house for their stay! Bald eagles, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and belted kingfishers were just a few of the birds we saw right up close. We loved watching the harbor seals that clearly live along this shoreline and regularly pop up to look around. We even got to see two gray whales swim by on our last morning! The beach is fantastic for rockhounding and for taking a stroll along the water. Patte is an amazing host! Her communication is excellent and she was so welcoming and helpful! Her chickens lay delicious eggs, as well. We absolutely hope to stay here again.

Our family had a wonderful time. The views from the house were amazing and the kiddos especially enjoyed visiting with the farm animals across the street. The owner was very helpful and an excellent host!

We enjoyed a perfect family get together at this lovely home. There is outstanding access to a very walkable beach, a deck and stunning views. A bonus is the warm and responsive hostess who lets guests spend time with her friendly farm animals. We all loved our stay!

Absolutely fabulous! Amazing deck, spacious rooms, unbelievably well furnished kitchen, gorgeous water view…I cannot say enough about how great this house is. Also, our host told our daughter where to launch her kayak and where to set her crab traps, and we had fresh Dingeness crab every night. I totally recommend!!!
