This is an amazing place. Quit sandy beach with a fantastic view of Mt Baker. Sheltered from the wind. If you are looking for a cabin on the beach this, is it. Definitely want to go back again.
This was the perfect spot for my spouse, myself, my mother-in-law, two teens, and our dog. We had everything we needed, loved the beach access, and it was easy to get places from there.
My sister and I had lovely time at the Beach Cabin. It's a nice beach front cabin with a great view of Penn Cove. In a quiet neighborhood, it's the perfect place to be on the beach while still being an easy drive to other places on Whidbey Island.
My adult kids and I stayed in this wonderful cabin. We watched Orcas, herons, quail, gulls, killdeer and more. The cabin is charming. The location, ideal. So quiet but an easy drive to Coupeville. We enjoyed beach fires and just hanging in the cabin with a fire and backgammon. The kitchen is so well supplied. We all hope to return.
This was our second time here and it was great! Property owner was very easy to get ahold of and you can’t beat the views. Definitely a hidden gem and we will be coming back.
We really enjoyed our stay at Long Point Beach Cabin! Great location, lots of nice amenities, and Chris was great about reaching out beforehand with all the details we would need. We stayed for 3 nights and wished it could have been more!
We love this home, it holds some fun special memories, we look forward to coming every year.
The house has everything you need for a nice getaway! Highly recommend!
A quintessential beach front cabin perfect for lazing around, fireside games, a cozy corner to get lost in a novel… all the kitchen amenities you could ask for. Beds are wonderful. Just a perfect stay.
We stay at 3 - 4 properties on Whidbey each year but this is our favorite spot! The Lincoln log style cabin is so charming, the furnishings are very comfortable and the location can't be beat. We've made it a yearly tradition to spend my husband's birthday here and we've taught our children the basics of boating safety with the double kayaks. Fabulous place!!!!
The house has everything you need to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Close to Front Street and the sculpture garden and well equipped with bedding, towels, kitchen things, and even boats. We have been more than once and will be back next year!
Location couldn't be better! We enjoyed the rowboat, firepit, and the bald eagle watching. Just a quick drive to Coupeville, yet a quiet neighborhood. Our party included four adults and two kids, and there was plenty of room for all. Good communication with Chris, the host, too. The view is mesmerizing!

Thank you so much for year review, that s is why we enjoy sharing our property with others.
We have stayed at Long Point Cabin about 6 times. My daughter, and her husband have it,as well. Couldnt ask for more. Location, beach, cabin and amentieties are unbelievable. Chris, the owner is one of the nicest people ever. Always sad when we have to pack up and leave. Wonderfulbplace to make family memories. Thank you Chris!
Loved the cozy cabin and especially the beachfront location. Our daily beach walks were rejuvenating and our dogs loved the freedom of safely running up and down the beach.
The few downsides: Penn Cove is in the Navy jet training flight path. They didn’t fly every day but when they did it was very loud. Also, vacuuming up the dust bunnies and under the beds could have been better. That being said the bathroom was very clean. It is an older well loved cabin that families would feel very comfortable for a fun vacation.

We recently purchased a robotic vacuum to address the dust bunnies, so thank you for bringing that to our attention. Sometimes the jets will do flyovers and then you will not hear them for awhile.
We cannot say enough about the host of the Long Point Beach House. He is a very kind man. The home is situated on one of the best beaches on Whidbey Island. Great for walking your dogs, kids or just sitting watching the wildlife. We have rented from Chris now for probably about 10 times between our families. Most of our time was spent enjoying the beach the wonderful kitchen for Gathering and just relaxing on the deck. The home is located in the area, where you could even walk to Coupeville if you wanted. They're beautiful deer within the countryside. We also had a lot of fires during our stay, as there is a beautiful fireplace and mantle to sit and just enjoy. It was fun to watch people dig for clams on the beach for a few days, and watch the seals chase the fish. It's always hard when it comes time to leave the house and return to Seattle. But we already have reservations in October. Thank you Chris Judd for the wonderful stay as always!Margaret and Lance/Family

Perfect for our family reunion
I was pretty nervous as we headed out to Whidbey, after dragging my family from across the country, but the house couldn't have been more perfect! Right on the water, we were able to watch gorgeous sunrises, keep an eye on the herons, porpoises, and seals, and take in Mt Baker! I've never seen a more thoroughly outfitted kitchen (food processors, griddle, waffle iron, coffee grinder, crock pot, the list goes on!). Coupeville is a really cute little town with really friendly people. It was a quick drive from the house and we even walked into town one day. The arrangement of the house made it easy for all 7 of us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. I'd recommend the house to anyone looking to host a crowd!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Lots of clutter
Great location, cute house, inside full of owners stuff. no closet space to use, hairy brush, used soap and used bottles of personal hygiene products in every drawer and in shower. Sticky film on all kitchen items. great fireplace but no killing and had to search for matches. Anyway, great potential and selection of boats.

Thank you for staying at our cabin. We are working on cleaning out the drawers and closets but at no point will the cabin be completely empty as we also stay there when not renting.
We do provide unlimited dry fire wood and propane at no charge to our guests and have never heard a comment about needing kindling for lighting fires. I think people just spit some if they choose or use a fire starter block. Many rentals don’t Supply firewood. We get asked that all the time if they need to bring firewood.
Our cleaner is typically really good and again we have seldom had any cleaning complaints but we will check in with the cleaner to make sure other guests do not run into an issue. I apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate your choosing to stay with us.

Aimless wandering, comfortable home
This cabin is larger than it looks and has the rustic smell of a wood fire!! The location is wonderful and sunrises with fog drifting among the islands were mystical. I stayed with 3 girlfriends for 2 nights and after they left my husband, daughter and two granddaughters arrived. The girls were so excited to be ON the beach. As the tide went out we followed it and discovered huge beds of sanddollars (please do not pick them up). Lunches 15 minutes away in Coupeville were luscious. We suggest Front Street Grill for amazing mussels and Cafe Langley in Langley is a perfect place to eat as you get off the ferry. Thank you, Jayne, for a perfect little slice of heaven. Oh and grab some pie at Greenbank Farms!!!

I am so happy to hear that you, your friends and your family enjoyed the experience at our cabin; that is the reason we like to share it with others. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets are breath taking. When our children were little, no toys could compete with the beach, so I'm glad the girls enjoyed it. Thank you so much for your kind words. Cheers! Jayne
