Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery on our 20- acre ranch. We are excited to share this peaceful, unique property with families and friends to gather and create memories. Have a BBQ and watch the Aggies play football, play cornhole on the lawn or simply, enjoy watching the cows roam the pasture. You feel so far from city life but yet so close to Kyle field (10 min) and all the other activities Aggieland has to offer.

Lovely home for a family get-together!

Three small family units all enjoyed a quick weekend getaway at this home. The bedroom arrangement was perfect for 3 couples and tossing the cousins/kids into the bunk room! It was close to campus but far enough away from the hustle/bustle to enjoy some peace in the evenings!

Your place was just perfect in every way. It’s spacious & cozy at the same time. The weather was ideal for outdoor fun, watching college football, fire pit gossip and of course ring day & an Aggie win topped off the weekend. Thank you for sharing your little slice of Aggieland with us. The camp ground next door was a plus, my ex- husband and his mom rented a cabin and my daughter stayed there in her camper. She is heading to Big Ben this week then back to Mobile.

Great Place for Groups

Great spot for reunion of old friends. Nice indoor and outdoor places to hang out by fire pit or watch TV. Host was proactive with communication and place was exactly as advertised.

Convenience and Comfort at Kap Ranch

Great location for our stay in B/CS for ring dunk weekend. The property was well kept inside and out and was true to the listing. We hosted a small gathering one night with local friends and the outdoor space was perfect. Would stay here again if the need arises.

We had a great time

The property was very clean and enjoyable. The outdoors of the property are beautiful, and they have nice outdoor seating for you to enjoy it with. We had 9 people staying, and we still felt the rooms and common areas felt spacious. We had a great time! Just down the road from campus!

Great Place. Super clean and very comfortable! Loved the outdoor space the best! So much better than a hotel because my son who attends A&M was able to stay out there with us. We were all able to be together and just hang out! Loved the fire pit!! Will definitely return!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Barndo! We absolutely love it. My Aggie was graduating so we booked ASAP! Perfect location for all the activities that were near campus, but also spent one day in the Bryan town square. Cute shops, Christmas decorations, etc! Sat out by the fire pit several nights too!Highly recommend! Super clean and comfortable. Better than any hotel!!LOVE!!

One of my favorite VRBO rentals

This rental was absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorites so far. We had an event at the expo just down the street so the location was perfect for our need. House was beautifully decorated on a great piece of property. The rental had everything we needed already stocked. Will definitely be booking this again next year when we return!

Great Place!

We had a wonderful stay at the Kap Ranch for an Aggie football weekend. The house and the setting were absolutely awesome. Everything was very clean and the house was well stocked. It was very peaceful and relaxing to sit on the porch with friends and family. The location worked great for us. Not too far from campus and Kyle Field but feels a world away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend the Kap Ranch for a visit to Aggieland.

Parents Weekend

My family and I stayed here for Aggie parents weekend and my son's ring dunk. We couldn't have been more impressed. Despite the rural feeling, the home is very close to everything including the growing downtown Bryan. The layout is great. The downstairs bedroom and bath was perfect for my mom. Upstairs there is an additional bedroom with an en-suite bath which offers privacy. The second bath area upstairs is great for accommodating multiple guest. There is a shower and sink area along with a completely separate toilet and sink area so the bathroom isn't tied up while someone is getting ready. The pictures don't do the home justice. Also, as someone who stays in VRBOs multiple times a year, I very much appreciated the super comfy beds and linens.

This is a great property for a group. The outdoor areas are great for relaxing and hanging out. Beds were comfortable and there was enough space in common living areas. We would definitely stay here again.

Howdy all, We are new to hosting and excited to have you all experience the wonderful ranch life we built over the years. We've created many memories with our children and now we want to share it with the world! My husband is an Aggie and raised in Dallas, while I was born and raised in N. California. So I'm not from here, but couldn't get here fast enough! Is that how it goes? We fell in love and moved to Shanghai, China and lived the exciting expat life for 5 yrs. Our son Mateo was even born there! We are truly a Global Family that love to travel and experience the adventures of culture, food and meeting new people. Chinese and Spanish are spoken in our family, so we welcome everyone! See you in Aggieland.

Why they chose this property

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. A nice country getaway from the city life for families and friends to gather. Only 5.2 miles (10 min) from A&M Kyle field and 3.5 miles (8min) to Downtown Bryan. Enjoy pre-game gatherings with outside grill, fire pit, scenic pond and plenty of outdoor relaxation space to enjoy watching the cows roam the pasture. This luxe country stay has all the amenities for all ages. Kids can play on the trampoline while adults relax and enjoy country life.

What makes this property unique

The KapRanch is a unique property for you to enjoy. However there are a few rules to take note. Renter may enjoy the personal use of the property for family and friends who are part of the original reservation. No additional people or gatherings are allowed without prior approval & fees may apply. -No parties or events allowed -No smoking inside the home, or we will assess a $200 charge for smoke odor removal. Also, up to $500 for any damages that may incur. -No access allowed in the Barn garage. -No candles or decorations on walls. -There is space designated for owners personal belongings in the master and guest room closets. Please do not access. -No petting or feeding cows. Please please please make sure you turn off the fire in the fire pit before going to sleep. We are on septic so please make sure to leave the strainers in the sinks in place and dispose off any solids in the trash. Although there is a garbage disposal, please don't throw anything in the drain to grind. The septic will clog up and it's very expensive and complicated to fix. This applies to the toilets - be careful not to flush feminine hygiene products or wipes. We are strict on our rules because we want all guest to experience the tranquility of being in nature all while respecting the ranch neighbors. Use & access to the property is limited to approved guests only.
