We booked this home in August and the property owner has been accessible ever since! His home is perfect!! The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for.us and another couple to stay...kitchen had everything we needed! The home is a perfect distance from town as well as hiking trails and the outdoor firepit atea is a perfect way to unwind after a busy day exploring the area!We will def book this again!

Mid Century Modern Marvel!

Our stay at the Maverick was perfection! Not only was the location quiet, private, clean and comfortable, the design and décor was mid century modern perfect, an amazing home! The owner was so helpful and easy to connect with, attentive and cared that we had a good time. Definitely stay at this location, well worth it and minutes from the fun town of Woodstock!

Family Woodstock Adventure

Fun weekend visit with our family. Cool mid century modern home nestled in the woods about 10 minutes from Woodstock. Well stocked kitchen and toiletries, nice outdoor decks and places to light fires. Owner was very nice and helpful with suggestions and welcomed us with 2 bottles of wine.

Wonderful week in Woodstock

This property is just wonderful. Surrounded by trees and rock formations, the outdoor deck is a serene place to decompress. The house is in pristine shape -- super clean, and has all that you might need to make it your base of operations for the Woodstock area and the Catskills beyond. Every detail is thoughtful, creating a wonderful place to stay... over and over again.

peaceful writing sanctuary

I LOVED this property. It was beautifully designed and had a sweet peaceful vibe. Set in the woods, so close to town, beautiful views, compelling inside and out. Great wifi. The owner/property manager, Henry, was extremely responsive and helpful. It was very hard to leave & I definitely hope to return! Everything about the stay was 5*****

MCM Dream

Perfectly appointed mid century private retreat. All interiors were impeccably kept. Exterior grounds are simply beautiful this time of year. Outdoor wood stove and fire pit are grand. The owner, Henry, is a pleasure to work with. He cares for his property and guests. He is readily accessible. Will return again.

Well designed retreat

We had a really wonderful winter retreat at the Maverick, with its striking mid-century modern decor. Lots of toasty fires and appreciated the quiet, lovely property filled with the songs of woodpeckers and other birds. Henry is incredibly responsive and communicative. The house is up a steep hill which our 2-wheel drive rental car struggled up in the snow and ice - but we made it and plow trucks kept it clear during our stay. We were remotely working and found the wifi great and the wooded views calming, including from the spa-like bathtub. A short drive to good Woodstock restaurants and the rail trails at the reservoir.
