This was a pretty good condo. The beachfront location was great, but the building shows its age, and is a little oddly designed. For instance, to access the beach you have to leave the building, then re-enter the property through a locked gate, then walk around the building, past the pool area, then through another gate and finally to the beach. Fortunately SPI offers lots of beach access, so if we return we'll probably rent something in the quiet area between the beach and the main drag and save some money. The condo could use a good deep clean. There were kitchen utensils, but no supplies, not even salt and pepper. The beds in the second bedroom were uncomfortably firm with crinkly and noisy bed liners. The shower was very slippery, with grab bars inconveniently high, and one very loose. No hair dryer in that bathroom. There is not enough parking, with all spaces full even with low occupancy. Can't imagine it during spring break. Parking pass must be displayed or risk towing. We did not see any HOA folks or tow trucks, but the warning signs were everywhere. Finally, a construction crew was noisily repairing the balcony decks. Would have been nice to know about that before booking.
