This cabin is perfectly described tucked away in Tahoma away from the busy lights but close enough to trek to near by towns like Tahoe City. The backyard was great for our dog to sit out there and enjoy the sounds of nature. I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful West Lake Tahoe getaway

The home was clean, comfortable and well stocked with basic necessities. The back yard was perfect for our family dog. Very nice neighborhood markets along the roadway along with the grocery store in Tahoe City.

Cute, clean & quiet

The neighborhood where the cabin is located feels like home. The neighbors are welcoming, and one of them even helped us when our dog got out.The location of the cabin was ideally close to trails and the Tahoma market an espresso shop and other small locally owned stores.
The cabin is nestled amongst tall trees.
Beautiful trails within a block of the cabin.

Great location

We stayed here with our 19 year old son. He slept on the pull out couch. Great location, two miles to wonderful skiing at Homewood. Great communication with owner and no problems.

My husband and I spent five nights at the cabin in Tahoma. We had scheduled activities in both South Lake Tahoe and outside of Truckee so staying in the middle of the west coast was ideal. The proximity to Sugar Pine State Park gave us an ideal spot to launch our kayaks. The neighborhood was quiet and the Tahoma market was close so we could pick up needed items. We would love to be able to make this a regular destination!

Great location but a little dirty

We loved the location of this little house. It is on a quiet street but close to Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, and some great state parks. The kitchen was well equipped and the back yard was nice. However, the couch had stains on it as did the mattress pad. If there were a new couch and bedding we would stay here again.

Everything was great except the kitchen is not that well stocked and the pull out sofa is the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on

Perfect location

The property is close to everything. We spent the mornings of our weekend stay at Meeks Bay for scuba diving activity. Found the perfect brunch spot: Cult Burger. The Where We Met coffee and ice cream place is a must visit when you're in the area. We tried 3 flavors and they are all good! In the afternoon, we drove up north to Homewood to check the area for the upcoming boat show in August and Tahoe City shopping and sightseeing. We bought wine and stuff for dinner at the nearby Market and Deli (they have good pizza, too!)

The place is exactly as described. I agree with comments that say kitchen has minimal amenities. Frig is awkward to open. However back yard patio is nice, bathroom bedroom fine.For two guests it works great

Another stay in beautiful west shore Tahoe

The house was just perfect! I had my friend and her 2 kids for sat evening until Monday -nice to have a secure home with fence! Everything inside house was great however sone difficulty with getting TV on as I am not used to set up ! Beds very comfortable ! Only sheet for couch torn and sliding security patio door off however my son put it back on! We talked with owner and it was taken care of immediately! Ideal home for family of 4 ! Thank you for gaving us!

A good fit for us

We wanted to find a place that was close to hiking trails. We choose this place for 2 reasons. 1. It was in our price range 2. It was close to hiking trails and emerald bay. The place is 10-15 minutes from a number of different trails and to a fantastic 6 mile walk around Emerald Bay. It is 5 to 6 minutes away from a small but well stocked grocery store. We had all we needed as far as comfort and the right kitchen utensils to make dinner. Amy was very available and does a great job of providing a place for us to choose. I love, love, love having choices as far as places to stay!

Cozy and clean

This cute place was a great find! Has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a big backyard. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. Amy is very easy to communicate with. Location was perfect for us. Would not hesitate to book again...see you next time!
