Playing hooky was a perfect vacation getaway for us. We loved the home and the proximity to the beach and town of manzanita. Jason and Alia are very responsive and thoughtful hosts - they have available on site, extensive beach gear and guest perks for a very enjoyable stay - all boxes checked! A terrific place to stay in Manzanita—roomy, well put together and comfortable, with nice decor touches and a thoughtful welcome gift. Our little rat terrier loved the Pendleton dog bed and we loved the lighted patio to hang out in the evenings. Would stay again! Thank you!

We live just outside of Portland and Manzanita is our happy place! We love to travel the US and the world with our two boys. We bought our Manzanita home as a weekend getaway and remodeled it down to the studs to create a bright, modern retreat for our family and others to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

Having lived in central Amsterdam for several years, and absolutely loving the town of Manzanita, we searched for a home where we would be able to walk to everything in town as well as the beach. We also love modern, light-filled spaces and this home has incredible natural light thanks to it's south-facing setting.

What makes this property unique

Our home is a unique blend of light and airy while also feeling cozy and comfortable, with many spots to curl up and read a book or relax after a long walk on the beach. Due to it's large open kitchen, living and dining space it's also a fantastic place to host friends and family.
