Upstairs: On the garden level, with a beautiful view of the lagoon and the ocean, you'll find a living area comprising a large 35 m² living room with an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, extractor hood, etc.), a bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm), and a shower room with WC. All appliances, bedding, and furniture are new. Wi-Fi is included. The enclosed garden is approximately 900 m² and offers parking for two vehicles. Garden furniture is provided. Pets are welcome.

La Faute sur Mer is the southernmost seaside resort in the Vendée. It is located in the Sea of Pertuis facing the island of Ré, near the bay of Aiguillon.

The beaches of La Faute sur Mer extend over 8 km from La Tranche to the end of the Pointe d'Arçay. They are well sheltered and you can practice many water activities including sand yachting. Four beaches are supervised. They are all gently sloping which is pleasant for families with children. Some beaches are equipped for people with reduced mobility, but access from the car parks is a bit far (access by paved paths then sand).

La Faute is one of the most recent towns in the Vendée (1953 – separation with La Tranche sur Mer). The northern part (zone closest to La Tranche) was conquered by drying out. To the south, we find the tip of Arçay (5 km long still expanding bordered by a forest of maritime pines) which is a coastal spit which is due to the sea and the wind. We find on this one very beautiful wild beaches.
