We really enjoyed our stay! All slept well, cooked great meals in the very accommodating cabin! We did try to contact caretakers regarding the hot tub but did not get a response. Hot tub was good and we continued to use it. We were concerned about a prompt on the tub saying screen needed to be cleaned.

Amazing property and great stay.

9 friends just spent the best weekend at the house. Incredibly clean, beautiful design, and has everything you need for amenities and a great time. So grateful for how helpful and responsive the property managers were and we all commented how much we look forward to coming back.

Late spring skiing

We had a wonderful time with several families, the skiing weather was a bit rough but the rental was great, kids had a wonderful time in the bunk room with access to fun outdoors and playground nearby. Parents loved the King beds, the main level separated from the noisy kids, and living room was very cozy. The hot tub and gear drying rack were huge bonuses. Would definitely stay again!

Incredible lodge! Wonderfully friendly!

The host is about making sure your stay is as wonderful as possible. I've never felt more welcome as a guest on VRBO as I have with this stay. The lodge is incredible, as cozy as it gets while having all the modern conveniences. Incredibly well stocked kitchen. Unbelievable porch with multiple gas powered deck fires and a radiant heater to keep you warm while enjoying the deck. Probably one of the most comfortables beds I've ever slept in as well. This place has also nearly thought of everything for those on a ski trip, including a heating rack for your gear, and complimentary radios for coordinating on the hill *mind blown*

Beautiful house - minus carbon monoxide problem

The house was beautiful and just as advertised, however, on our first night at midnight the carbon monoxide alarm went off and we had to call the fire department to clear the house. It scared the crap out of our kids so it was a while before we could calm them down and get them back to bed after the house was clear. The next night we smelled a gas/exhaust after we all showered, we opened all the windows and aired out the house and called the property managers. They sent a tech out to work on the water heater though we saw the problem quickly, they had the exhaust pipe right next to the fresh air intake pipe... took me five minutes to google the water heater install instructions and see how that was supposed to be installed... definitely not like that. The intake pipe was sucking the exhaust back into the house! The exhaust pipe should have been way above the fresh air intake to prevent that from happening, nice diagrams in the instruction manual if the installer had looked at it lol. The property manages said the alarm had gone off several times over the last year and a half... don't know how it took so long to identify and fix the water heater issue and they are luck that didn’t kill anyone. That pretty much wrecked the first half of our stay, what should have been a relaxing stay turning into kids scared to go to sleep and a wife with anxiety issues and PTSD freaking out about it. Last half of the stay was good, too bad the first half was wrecked.

Response from VrboOwner on 7 September 2024
We are truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we are deeply concerned about the carbon monoxide alarm and the water heater problem. We understand that these incidents were frightening and disruptive, and we sincerely apologize for the distress they caused. We take full responsibility for the errors that led to these situations and have taken immediate steps to address them. We were advised by the local fire department that there was not a carbon monoxide leak, however the alarm was being triggered by the water heater. We have investigated the carbon monoxide alarm and the water heater issue and have implemented corrective measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. We are also conducting a thorough review of our maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure that all safety checks and inspections are carried out.
