Great Stay!

My wife and I and our dog greatly enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet neighborhood and the accommodations were comfortable. If I get the chance to stay here again, I would definitely rebook.

Great location and close to the beach. Just what we were looking for during our time in Venice. Would definitely stay here again! Tips if you're staying here: find and keep track of the single Air Conditioning Remote (there are several wall units that it controls) and bring bottled water (like everywhere in Florida, the tap water has a sulfur smell).

Good Vacation Home- Stars deducted for Cleanliness

This house is conveniently located close to shops, grocery stores, and the beach. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. Each room has its own AC unit controlled by a remote which was nice. However, the cleanliness is what made me deduct stars. The bathroom had urine and hair on the toilet and there was mold in the sink. There was also a lot of hair in the shower, too. There was also no directions provided about check out at all. I had to message the host, which isn’t a big deal but I would’ve assumed there would’ve been instructions on how to leave the house when checking out. I wanted to like this house as it was a good price but the cleanliness was not up to pare at all.

Hey there everyone! I am a born and bred Chicagoan that has been visiting my Grandma in Sarasota since I was a little kid. In my early twenties I met my now fiance Alexandra who spent many vacations with her family in Florida and shares my love for the sunshine state. We began to spend so much time over the years visiting that friends and family jokingly called us young snowbirds. We realized we loved what we thought of as our second home so much that we began to pursue the dream of living here full time. We have recently made that dream come true.

Why they chose this property

Our home is in a peaceful and relaxed family neighborhood perfect for biking, running and walking. Centrally located less than 5 minutes from the historic downtown shops and restaurants of Venice and less than 10 to the beach. The Caribbean like white sand of Siesta Key beach is less than 30 minutes straight down Tamiami/US 41. 7/11 is right down the street and Publix, Walgreens, Walmart and any place you may need to visit during your stay is no more than a few minutes away.

You will find that you will have everything you may need or want not just outside our home but inside it as well.
