My extended family of 11 stayed at this house the first week of July. The rental process was easy. The owner was quick to respond to all questions. When there was a mix up on some linens we were helped promptly. The house was spacious, beds comfortable, house clean, pool comfortable temperature for dips at anytime of day. Everything was in working order and had all the kitchen supplies needed. The location to the beach was perfect for us with grandparents and tweens, people could come and go as they pleased. The only obstacle was the green flies but we solved that with Irish spring soap and just figuring out what the locals do. Great stay!

Disliked: Cleanliness, location
Cost is too high for the state of the home. Decor is dated and kitchen and cooking supplies old and limited. Not enough casual seating. BBQ was disgusting. Unusable due to a lack of cleaning, for a very long time. Home location is at the far north end of island. Nearby beach is average. Better beaches need to be driven to. Home too far to walk to stores and restaurants. Finally, not enough bath towels are provided for guests. We numbered 13 with adults and children.
We had a wonderful time. House is very nice and has plenty of space to spread out. Location is very good. Close to the beach and bay and the pool is an added bonus.
Great location and great space for a family vacation at the beach. The house has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The pool a a great bonus after spending the day at the beach. Bob was a great host, he was responsive when we needed to reach him.
We had such a great family vacation at this house. Amazing views and an awesome space. Relaxing on the porch each morning with a cup of coffee, beautiful view, and the sound of waves crashing was serene. The horse had everything you could need for a weeks stay and the pool was such an early evening treat. Thanks for making your home available Bob!
Check in was easy. The house and bathrooms were clean with plenty of closet space. The kitchen was fully functional, many plates, utensils, pots and pans. All kinds of gadgets for preparing food.
The property was spacious and bright. There were many areas people could gather. It was an open concept home, if you are cooking you could see everyone around you.
We had a great time staying there.
Location to nearby restaurants and beach were terrific. We loved it!
We stayed at this property 2 years ago and had a great time. We decided to do it again this year and had an equally great time. This time we had our 2 grandchildren with us. Great location, nice accommodations. We hope to be able to do it again in a couple years. Thank You!
This beach home is so spacious that we had more than enough room for our group of 12. The pool was an absolute gem and added bonus! The walk to the beach was so short that it was easy to be back and forth multiple times a day! Having all the kitchen equipment we needed, plus linens and towels provided made packing easy for us. This I was our favorite house to stay at, by far!
Had a wonderful time at Robert's home. We were able to put each family on a separate floor which let's face it, it gives you a certain amount of space; haven't lived together since the girls were in High School. Would recommend highly for families
We loved the layout of the house and it accommodated 12 people very comfortably . Excellent proximity to the beach. Loved our in ground pool. Easy drive to the boardwalk in Atlantic City where the kids enjoyed the rides on Steele Pier. Definitely hoping to go back next year.
Short get away to visit AC and watch the NCAA basketball tournament.
Everyone enjoyed the weekend and the accommodations. The house was clean and comfortable. Close enough to visit AC, but far enough away to sleep at night. The views of the beach and ocean, just a few feet away are spectacular . We parked on Friday and ubered all weekend.
Very spacious home located three houses off of a beautiful beach. Pirates Den restaurant is right across the street but we also found Brigantine Bistro, which had delicious food and friendly staff. The only recommendation would be to clean the gas grill in between stats. The owner of the property responded to a question I had immediately and was very accommodating. Would love to go back.
We had the best time! The house is gorgeous, such a great place for a get together. Great open floor plan. Love the balconies! We went to pirates den twice! Host was also super prompt and nice about check in and letting us stay an extra few hours.
My only minor complaint was having to put the sheets on the beds ourselves upon arrival. For the price of the stay, the rooms should be ready for us!
Needed to be cleaned better garbage wasn’t empty the sheets for the bed were still wet when we put them on beds, were hard not comfortable at all !Needs new couch it was held up by a piece of wood ! At first the host was very nice an helpful then I thought he was rude we took a twin mattress up stairs to see if it would make the bed any better an it didn’t when we left I forgot to take it back downstairs it was half way down on the steps we had a emergency on Friday night so we didn’t get much sleep so I forgot to return the mattress to the bed where it went an the host was very rude about it !
Robert was great to deal with and prompt with his responses. The house was as listed and what we expected. Unfortunately, we did have a few minor issues. The screens were torn so badly we couldn’t open the windows for a sea breeze. The kitchen was fully stocked, but didn’t leave much cabinet space for our stuff. The garbage disposal was broken so we had to clean it out so the food didn’t smell. We do wish we had known about the beach construction as it altered a lot of our beach time. The last 3-4 were pretty much impossible to go to the beach. If returning to Brigantine, we would definitely consider this rental again.
The house is beautiful, but the cleaniness was unsatisfactory! I'm really disappointed! There was a plastic bag of cigarette butts left on the balcony in which the housekeeper came to the house because we had other issues with the property. The housekeeper stated that she didn't see the plastic bag if cigarette butts because she doesn't check that side of the balcony. The garage door would not close, contacted both hosts via cell phone, received a text from one host stated the the garage door needed batteries. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty, housekeeper stated she doesn't clean dishes. There was trash and recycled materials left in the cans outside the property which left a foul smell. Entering the house, it smelled musty and like a used cat box. I told the housekeeper this and she said its from the trash cans outside the property. The microwave casing was broken and its a hazard where you can cut yourself on the sharp metal. There was a cup of cigarette butts left on the front step....gross! The hot tub was dirty, needed to be cleaned first before you got in. The shower off the master suite bedroom had no glass shower door, the shower curtain used in the place of the glass door was 6-8 inches short. In which when using the shower, water flooded the tile floor. Another hazard! Back yard had over grown weeds, broken lounge chair , deflated pool floats, pool toys scattered around pool areas. Tons of flies near weeds! Propane tank was empty. VERY DISSAPPOINTED!

It is certainly disappointing to an owner when a guest violates house rules on No Smoking and refuses a personal offer from our housekeeper to make whatever corrections are necessary to achieve guest satisfaction. A substantial goodwill discount was also ignored and not mentioned. So be it. As with all Brigantine owners, we strive to provide guests a clean, well stocked property full of amenities and simply ask all guests treat our family beach home with due respect. Rest assured all issues caused by this guest have been corrected. Looking forward to a stellar 2026 season in our quiet little beach town.
House was great, close to the beach. Unfortunately for our stay the pool heater wasn’t working but RJ(the host) did a great job at communicating this to me before we got to the house
