Gorgeous view, comfortable beds, prime location, but the home was a bit more rustic than we assumed from the listing photos (very much an older modular home with just some minor upgrades). Still cozy & a nice stay, but just a bit more camp-ish than we had thought. Shower has good pressure & water temps, but water has a strong sulfur smell from the well. We enjoyed all our outdoor time on the lake, the fire (both inside and out) and the loons!

The place was perfect for a quiet week. Although only saw the sun one day. The cabin has everything needed.

The camp was overall as described, quiet and beautiful view. The king size bed was both appreciated and most comfortable, was the first time that I ever had to bring our own linens. (sheets and towels), my husband thought that for the money this should have been supplied. We did lose power for an hour or so, on a very windy day and no fault to our hosts. Jeannie was very responsive to any communications. Especially enjoyed watching the 2 loons that came to visit off the dock every day. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place right on the lake . The house is comfortable and kitchen area was very user friendly . The screened in porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunset . We also enjoyed the close proximity to The Castle in the Clouds and The Loon Center . We appreciate being able to stay at a place that is pet friendly .

This home was exactly as pictured and described. The size of the dock to sit by the water was a welcome surprise. Owner responded quickly and so nice to work with. Highly recommend this home. We will definitely be back.

Great getaway!

We loved this cozy spot right on the lake, even through a rainy weekend! We got a canoe ride in and enjoyed coffee on the dock. We spent lots of time in front of the fire and a good amount of time on the screened-in porch playing board games. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

Rustic LakeFront

Great location, beautiful views, accessible to some wonderful hikes. My ask for the future, the owners should think about providing wifi for guests, asking them to use a hotspot for wifi is not ideal, especially for those of us without unlimited data plans.

Wonderful location. Cottage is old but nice. Needs improvement in spare bunk room and bathroom could use a major upgrade. The rest of the cottage was very nice. Outdoor area was also very nice.

Perfect rustic retreat

Lovely cottage with delightful screened porch and views of the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit and dock, and kayaked every morning (brought our own but house has two available). Great communication with host. Only suggestions for improved experience would be an updated shower head in bathroom and access to Wi-Fi.
