Early check in late check out cottage in SERENBE Chattahoochee Hills GA

Mad Violette Cottage is located right in the Serenbe** wellness community, 30 minutes south of the Atlanta airport. We welcome check-in at 12:00 noon so you can enjoy a full first day at the cottage, and late check out is the norm, at 5:00 pm. If you need an earlier check-in or later check-out, please let us know. We can sometimes accommodate that.

Serenbe is different from anyplace you have ever visited. You can see the stars at night and walk through the woods during the day. Even if you are working at the cottage - we have high speed internet, a printer, and really pretty work space upstairs and downstairs - you will feel as if you have gotten away from it all.

You'll have private use of a two-story, two bedroom, two bathroom cottage, stocked with books and board games, steps away from wooded trails in one direction and Halsa and Radical Dough restaurants and Bamboo juice shop in the other. Mad Violette Cottage is also a two minute walk to the Spa at Serenbe, Creek Retreat Spa and Wellness services and the Serenbe Yoga Studio.

The lower level of the cottage offers a large, well-stocked book case, two loveseats, a comfy chair for reading or watching television, and a SmartTV. The kitchen island provides space for up to four to eat together. At the back of the lower level is the first bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a small desk, for reflective writing or a bit of work.

Out the sliding glass doors on the lower level you'll find our private side courtyard garden area, perfect for drinks or a snack. Seating for four on the front porch allows you to have your morning coffee or tea (the cottage is stocked with both, and creamer and sugar, too) and watch the walkers stroll by. We have one bike available for your use, and more can be rented at the bike shop, a short walk from the cottage.

A few turns up the stairs leads to the second level, with a large master bathroom with separate toilet, and the master bedroom. A smaller SmartTV and a desk for work or reflection, and another comfy chair and stocked bookcase complete our set-up. Note that we have an HP wireless printer, in case you are working.

The loft area is connected to the master bedroom without a door, and is a larger, open space. Our loft area provides extra sleeping space with a day bed and futon. The day bed is stacked with two single sized mattresses. The day bed can be pulled out and the single mattresses spread out to make a king-sized sleeping space. This room also has an extra futon stored in the corner. Looking at all of the sleeping space in the house, it is suitable for 2 people sharing the queen bed downstairs, two sharing the queen bed upstairs, and two or three children on the day bed mattresses and futon. The cottage is most comfortable, though, for a maximum of five people.

Come without anything to read and discover something new. Do a wellness reset with a Bamboo juice fast and hikes. Practice some yoga. Reconnect over board games*.

Golf cart rentals are $60 per day from www.serenbegolfcarts.com - please reserve in advance! Serenbe is very walkable, but a golf cart for a day can be a great way to explore.

NOTES: This house is best for pre-toddler babies and older kids; curved wood stairway (uncarpeted) makes it not good for toddlers. If you need a one day rental, please contact us to request for an additional cleaning fee.

*Ask about our Harry Potter wand and robe box, if you are bringing kids who are Harry Potter fans. You must request this, and we will put it upstairs for your kids.
