Flip a switch and enjoy the warming ambiance of the indoor fireplace while catching up on your favorite TV shows on the large 65” smart TV. This is outdoor living at its best. Cook some burgers or hot dogs on the BBQ grill. Enjoy them with a few drinks, while listening to the sound of the birds in the tall pines. Enjoy a few rounds of cornhole while the kids take turns on the swing set.

For the ultimate vacation indulgence, pull down the retractable 100” movie screen and switch on the DVD player. Choose a movie, grab some popcorn, and enjoy a cinematic experience from anywhere on the deck, including the hot tub – there’s not a bad seat in the house!

When it starts to get darker, slow the pace down a little and make use of the convenient fire pit. We’ve arranged lots of seating around it, so you’ll be able to enjoy moonlit conversations and lots of s’mores! We think the best seats are the two hanging hammocks – you may have to draw straws to see who gets the next turn!

The children will adore playing on the outdoor play set, complete with a slide. Don’t worry when the evening starts to draw in. The ambient string lights mean that little ones will be able to carry on playing long after bedtime (parent permission pending)!

WILDLIFE & NATURE: We have a regular pest control service that maintains the grounds. However, as we are located in a rural area, potential guests should be aware that local flora and fauna, including snakes, lizards, deer, bears, raccoons, spiders, ladybugs, wasps, bees, rabbits, excessive pollen, poison ivy/oak, chiggers, beetles, field mice, ants, cockroaches, squirrels, opossums, flies, coyotes, moths, and butterflies, may be present. Despite our strict pest control and cleaning regimen, some native wildlife may still make their presence known. Because the property is in the forest, we cannot guarantee you won't see some of these. We appreciate your understanding!
