I really enjoyed my stay. It's a beautiful, private location right on the water. The room was very quiet and cozy. I slept like a baby. It was also spotless. I was very pleased with my stay.
Arlene was a gracious host and the room was clean and comfortable. You couldn’t ask for a better location to almost everything there is to do in the area. Great neighborhood with plenty of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely stay there again when we get to Delray Beach again.
I want to give much thanks to Arlene and her daughter Krista! They are wonderful and i couldnt be more happier with the services they provided for my stay! The property is beautiful, very clean and relaxing. Felt like a great escape. I cant wait to book my next trip with this property. Thanks again!

Thank you Jessica, much appreciated. We're looking forward to your next visit. A & K
My wife and I just finished our five day visit to this location. It is set in the middle of 40 acres on a private road. The lake is surrounded with million dollar homes. We kayaked, used the swim in place whirlpool with hot tub. Arlene was a great hostess and took care of any issues. There were five peacocks near our building and added a special ambience to the place. It was 10 minutes to the Dunes State Park Beach (rent umbrella and chairs) and Boynton and Delray Beaches. There were plenty of good places to eat within minutes of the room. We enjoyed prime catch for seafood and first watch for breakfast/brunch. There are also jet skis for rent. We didn’t get a chance to use them.
This property was perfect for our kids to stay near our monthly rental! Arlene was welcoming and efficient. The room was exactly what we were looking for and in a perfect location! Thanks for the hospitality!

We so enjoyed our short stay here. The grounds are beautiful, complete with fascinating neighborhood peacocks. Our host couldn't have been nicer. She made sure we felt right at home. I hate to leave!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Arlene was always responsive and accommodating. The place is perfect for 1 or 2 people, in a beautiful, quiet setting, right on the water. Easy drive to the beach and downtown Delray.
I would definitely return!

THANK YOU LYNSEY, LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN.. ARLENE
I was overly impressed by the location, right on the lake. The grounds are kept immaculate and the people there were extremely nice. I felt completely at peace during my extended stay. They kept me informed about cleaning times and anything that may come up. I would highly recommend this place. It is definitely a getaway so close to downtown Delray.
This is such a beautiful property and the weather was amazing. Arlene was so kind and accommodating. I loved the cozy room, it was so comfy for me! Kayaking around the lake was very relaxing, and I caught a bunch of fish too: Peacock Bass, Clown Knifefish, Snakeheads, Gar and Catfish. There's even more species of fish in this lake too. Seeing the peacocks and iguanas around the property was so cool. I would definitely come back, and hope to soon! Arlene's great!

Thanks Ray, we loved having you and hope to see you again soon. You were a great guest. arlene
We're originally from suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, St. Clair Shores. We moved here some 30 years ago to enjoy the amenities of lake front living; water skiing, jet skiing, boating, fishing and more. The family grew up and away. It is our pleasure to enjoy the many guests, friends and family we've acquired thru VRBO . It is our hope to share the wonders of Lake Ida living for years to come. We look forward to meeting you.
Why they chose this property
We are in the middle of 23 undeveloped acres. The location is private, secluded and just 22 blocks from the activities of "The Avenue, in Delray Beach. Ideal location for R & R, nature lovers, photographers, athletes, bikers and more. The views are spectacular, activities are boundless. Our home is approaching 100 year old cottage. However, completely renovated, clean and ready. The studios are like "tiny Homes" with comfortable beds, stocked kitchenettes, BBQ, updated bath, private entrance, patio and gated yard. Parking available. My favorite pastime is watching the lake activities, critters roaming and Peacocks. A little bit of Heaven on Earth.
What makes this property unique
The PRIVACY. A favorite retreat for TV personalities, a radio psychic, fishermen, professional DJ's, artists, photographers, parents and grandparents visiting local children and more. The LOCATION. Close to shopping, museums, I95, restaurants 5 star, ocean and more. The COMPANY.
