The home is adorable, super clean and smelled good! It was welcoming and felt homey. The beds were comfortable too! Easy and convenient right off the road.
Overall great place to stay! Super close to New River Gorge. The place was clean, cozy and had many nice amenities. There’s a fire pit, a grill and all the things you need to stay in and it’s close to many places if you want to go out. Highly recommend!
Great place to stay with an abundance of wildlife. Deer on the 1st night, turkeys on the 2nd and a friendly squirrel on the 3rd!Photo is from a front porch view…
Myrtle's Place is wonderful! Perfect for 2, but has an extra bedroom for 2 more, or if you just like some extra space. Nicely stocked kitchen for cooking, if you need to. Very comfortable, felt like home! Perfect location for exploring NRGNP and surrounding area! The hosts have pretty much thought of everything you might need in a home away from home. Hoping to be back our next trip thru the area!
The home was very comfy and inviting. Close to all the scenic and interesting attractions. Would love to stay there again. The traffic noise was high but acceptable
We loved our stay at this amazing home . The place is new, very clean , smells good and beautiful. The house is simple , they have everything we have and not cluttered . Check-in process is very easy , host is responsive to messages in a timely manner . It’s close to where we are going , the New River Gorge Bridge . Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with travelers like us.
Myrtle’s Place was the perfect place for our vacation! It was very clean, neat and comfortable. There were many thoughtful touches, including sound machines in the bedrooms and a cooler in case we needed an extra. It was so nice having a grill and picnic table for outdoor dinners. The location was convenient for getting to all sorts of adventures. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
I am new to VRBO but I did not see a notice of a pet fee. they charged me extra. Great site, excellent yard. Lots of space. Two complaints: pillows are way too soft and it is right on a busy road. It is rural area, but road is pretty busy, 55-60 mph. I would stay again. Just bring your own pillows and ear plugs.

When a guest checks availability and clicks on travelers, it gives you a checkbox to check if traveling with pets. I have lots of guests that bring pets and check this box. You must have overlooked that step since you are new to VRBO. Due to proximity of Rt 60, I have Sound Soothers in the bedrooms for road noise which is noted in property amenities. This is the first complaint I have had on the pillows being too soft. I will check into it.
Very respectfully Lane
The house and location was outstanding.Very clean, certainly updated,on a beautiful piece of property The road noise is noticeable but not terrible, close to the parks as well as other things that make it convenient. I would stay at Myrtle’s Place again.
Amazing stay! Everything was absolutely perfect. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Very close to Hawk’s Nest State Park, New River Gorge, and Babcock State Park. We will definitely be back soon!
This was our second stay at Myrtle’s place and we loved it. Highly recommend. Very convenient to have a Piggly Wiggly grocery store just a minute away from the house.
This Vrbo has an excellent location for all of the things we wanted to experience whilst in West Virginia. We did the Bridge Walk, The Lost World, The Coal Mine Exhibition, Hawk's Nest and much sight seeing on our motorcycle. There was room for us to park our motorcycle trailer and truck. The location is "in the country" but convenient to all the attractions. We loved that the Piggly Wiggly was right up the road. We enjoyed grilling out and seeing all of the fireflies at night.PS. The neighbors were SO friendly!!We loved Myrtle's Place.
We were very happy with Myrtle’s Place. It was convenient to all the things were looking to do. We had a wedding in Anstead and then we wanted to hangout in Fayetteville and Lansing. The house was fantastic! It was great for the space and amenities. Next time we come we hope to use the fire pit! Thanks for making our stay so great!!!

Glad you enjoyed your stay at Myrtle's Place. Would love to host you again!
Such a cute house on the inside! It was a good landing spot for the national park and other activities. It was close to a well stocked local grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean.
