The house was perfect for our family of four. It was located in close proximity to everything we desired to do while visiting the area. All of our needs were met while staying in the home.

This family of four are extremely tidy... The cabin was left clean... Amazing guest...
We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it and stay again! They were super responsive and quick with all communications, and we had a great experience! The cabin and property are very clean, and we could tell that lots of care goes into maintaining the property. We loved being out in the country and enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the hot tub and back patio! It’s also very close to hiking trails and other attractions such as the Endless Wall Trail and the bridge. Highly recommend this trail and doing the bridge walk!

Angel your review is much appreciated... So glad your family made our cabin your home...
The cabin was warm and inviting. The property is a short drive outside of town and was quiet and serene. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. An added bonus, was to have a relaxing soak in the hot tub after a long day hiking. The cabin also had a fire pit which we enjoyed sitting around in the evening. We had brought our own wood, but there was provided wood at the cabin if needed. The owner was quick to respond with any questions that we had. Our family really enjoyed our stay here.
Great communication with the host and super friendly. We really enjoyed the location. It was private with plenty of space for the pups to run around. For us it was perfect. It was a short trip and wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore more, enjoy the fire pit, etc. We will look to go back when we can stay longer.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The interior was clean and cozy, and the amenities fit our needs perfectly. It is so nice to be able to bring pets along for trips. The exterior/land surrounding gave us ample opportunity to fresh air, play, and space for our pets to do the same. Our kids especially enjoyed the rope swing near the proximate pond.Communication with the host was minimal, but they very polite and accommodating. We would gladly stay here again if the opportunity presented. Thanks much.
Really nice cabin located pretty close to the NRG bridge as well as one of the most popular trails in the area, Endless Wall. We loved our long weekend here, being able to bring our dog, and having a hot tub to relax after days of hiking the trails. Also not too far of drive to get into town for food.
This was a great cabin! It had all the comforts of home (nicely stocked kitchen, plenty of blankets/towels, etc) and the property was great! We enjoy staying places off the beaten path - we loved the porches, the hot tub, the firepit, and all of the outdoor spaces. It was very close to New River Gorge NP and to a few little towns. If we are ever back in WV we would definitely stay again!

Natives of southern New Jersey we vacationed and experienced our first rafting trip and were instantly in love with the beauty of West Virginia.
Why they chose this property
We have owned Fern Creek Cabins since 2011. We have made many improvements, the latest a complete remodel of the 2 bdrm kitchen and living room. We've also replaced cabinets and counter tops in the one-room. Replaced the hot tub in the one-room and installed heating and air unit. We’ve also built a tiny house for our caretaker on the property.
