My wife and I visited with our dog. The property is beautiful. The cabin is very comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the patio and looking out at the pond and trees. The location is perfect for hiking in the New River Gorge. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had.We loved our stay and hope to return again sometime soon.
My girlfriend and I stayed at the establishment and it was beautiful! Owners of the property were very communicative. I have nothing bad to say about the property at all. It was very memorable. It felt like home away from home. I would highly recommend this place Thank you so very much.

Adam is the perfect guest... We would love if he would come back and see us again.
We stayed in the two bedroom cabin for a long weekend getaway. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed. It was very private, but close to all major things we wanted to do in the park.

Thanks Amy... You and your family are perfect guests... So tidy!
Peace and quiet! This place offered us that, a cozy spot to land after a hot day of hiking. A hot tub for soaking our muscles and a well equipped kitchen for snacks and breakfasts. Loved seeing the deer grazing and hearing frogs and cicadas at night. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The house was perfect for our family of four. It was located in close proximity to everything we desired to do while visiting the area. All of our needs were met while staying in the home.

This family of four are extremely tidy... The cabin was left clean... Amazing guest...
Fern Creek cabin and property is peaceful, idyllic, and tidy. We enjoyed being off the beaten path, yet close enough to great trails, Fayetteville, and activities in many directions. The cabin was well-equiped should we need anything, and clean and tidy. The hosts/caretaker were responsive to questions that arose. The hot tub was clean and relaxing after long days on trails. I enjoyed the porch facing the pond, and walking the property, a rainstorm, and loads of toads! My son loved his comfy bed, the decor, and reading the guest books. There's so much to do in the parks and area, we would love to stay at Fern Creek again for an extra day just to enjoy the cabin.

Thank you for sharing photos.... Such a great review.... Much appreciated...
We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it and stay again! They were super responsive and quick with all communications, and we had a great experience! The cabin and property are very clean, and we could tell that lots of care goes into maintaining the property. We loved being out in the country and enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the hot tub and back patio! It’s also very close to hiking trails and other attractions such as the Endless Wall Trail and the bridge. Highly recommend this trail and doing the bridge walk!

Sarah left the cabin very clean and tidy... Easy guests to accommodate.... Thanks Sarah!!
This quaint little house felt like stepping into Grandma’s home, with its cozy atmosphere, rustic charm, and homey decor. The hot tub was hot and ready for us when we arrived, and the cute porch overlooking the pond was a lovely place to relax. Although the rustic country roads made it feel tucked away from everything, the house was just minutes from the Endless Wall Trail, the New River Gorge Bridge, and many other area attractions. It made the perfect home base for exploring the area.We did encounter a large number seasonal stink bugs in the front bedroom with the bunk beds, which meant the kids could not sleep in this room, and ended up sleeping on the pullout bed in the living room. When we were able to speak with the caretaker the next day he was upfront with us about this being a seasonal challenge, and we appreciated his honesty and communication.Overall, the house has so much character and a wonderful location. It was a cozy place to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful New River Gorge area, and we appreciated the charm and hospitality of this family-owned rental.

Angel your review is much appreciated... So glad your family made our cabin your home...
The cabin was warm and inviting. The property is a short drive outside of town and was quiet and serene. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. An added bonus, was to have a relaxing soak in the hot tub after a long day hiking. The cabin also had a fire pit which we enjoyed sitting around in the evening. We had brought our own wood, but there was provided wood at the cabin if needed. The owner was quick to respond with any questions that we had. Our family really enjoyed our stay here.
Great communication with the host and super friendly. We really enjoyed the location. It was private with plenty of space for the pups to run around. For us it was perfect. It was a short trip and wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore more, enjoy the fire pit, etc. We will look to go back when we can stay longer.
