Fouras, the green peninsula, is a seaside resort located south of La Rochelle (the Aquarium, the Old Port, Les Minimes, etc.) and close to Rochefort (the Corderie Royale, the construction of the Hermione, etc.). Fouras and its five sandy beaches, its forts, Fort Boyard, and oyster farming... The islands: Aix, Madame, Oléron, and Ré.
