It offers a peaceful residential setting while remaining just minutes from Siesta Key Beach, downtown Sarasota, and the area’s cultural and culinary highlights. The property is also conveniently located only a few minutes from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, making travel easy for guests.
It’s a place where you can feel tucked away, yet effortlessly connected to everything that makes Sarasota exceptional.

Desoto Grand Estate is connected to Sarasota’s rich circus history. The home was built by members of the renowned Flying Concellos, one of the most celebrated trapeze acts of the 1930s and 1940s, who performed with the legendary Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Led by Art and Antoinette Concello, the troupe was known worldwide for its precision and daring aerial performances — including Antoinette’s groundbreaking triple somersault.
During the golden age of the circus, Sarasota served as the winter home of Ringling, and many performers settled here. Staying at Desoto means experiencing a property rooted in that extraordinary era of artistry and courage.
