Very nice house, very clean and relaxing. The lake view was beautiful. The host was very nice and was prompt answering questions. I recommend for a relaxing stay. The only bad part there is not a thing to do around the area.

Hi, we're glad you enjoyed your trip! If you come visit again, we would recommend checking out Joe Wheeler State Park just 10 minutes away where they have a beach, kayak rentals, golf course, and more. There's also the BARge restaurant/bar on site next to the Lucy Branch Marina (boat rentals) that has live music on the weekends. If you're looking for restaurants, the closest ones are about 10 minutes away in Rogersville. Thanks for visiting!

The view is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The house was a little warm when we arrived but finally cooled off. The outside could use a good cleaning and trash can was not emptied previously and smelled every time you walked by. Regardless, we had a great stay.

Pictures accurately reflect the home. It’s located with a beautiful view of the lake which is why we rented the house. 2 bedrooms are located on the main floor and there is an upstairs open loft bedroom. Location was a reasonable drive to Athens, AL and Huntsville. Host was very available and instructions were all easy. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family loves to fish and this spot was perfect! The walk down to the water and back up can be challenging for some (lots of stairs) but that didn’t stop us. The fishing was great and it was just nice to sit by the water as well. The house was quite spacious and the view from the main living area was amazing!! Very clean with no issues. Would highly recommend!!

I was looking for a quiet, restorative place to recharge over a long weekend and found here at the cottage. The cottage itself is clean, cozy, and has excellent outdoor space for reading, sipping wine, or jumping in the water. I can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful views of the lake from the huge picture windows and comfy couches for convention or for watching movies. We had a wonderful friend’s reunion here; having a separate bath for each bedroom was a plus.

Perfect place for family!

This house was perfect for my family. We all have to travel to meet up and this year we chose this place for our small Thanksgiving lunch. It was perfect for our small family and we will be coming here again for Christmas. We are so excited!
