Palmer Park Oasis in Central Part of Colorado Spring. Private Hot Tub!
Gorgeous mountain views of Pikes Peak and the surrounding mountain range from the outside of the unit. Very safe and quiet area with lots of street lighting and on-street parking directly in front of the property. Unit is locate on the East side of the property. Completely private hot tub and backyard space. Fenced in outside sitting area for sun and relaxation during the summer months! (Colorado Springs Short Term Rental A-STRP-24-0637)
Beautifully updated, clean and bright 1400 square feet space for your enjoyment. Located on the East side of the property. Fully stocked kitchen. This unit has an upstairs living room and downstairs family room. Perfect for guests to have separate spaces for privacy when there are multiple families coming to stay! One bedroom/ one bath located on upper floor (with full sized pull out couch for extra guests) and one bedroom/one bath located on lower floor. Private hot tub in fenced in backyard! Seating area to enjoy the sunny
10 minute drive to downtown (special boutiques, restaurants, bars/dancing establishments up and down the famous Tejon Street crawl) 10 minutes to Powers Corridor (more restaurants, movie theaters, and lots of familiar shopping retailers). Citadel Mall is only a few minutes away. I-25 is approximately 15 minutes from unit. Denver, CO is approximately 70 miles.
LIST OF ATTRACTIONS within a 20 minute drive from unit:
The World Famous Broadmoor Hotel and Convention Center and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (only "Mountain" Zoo in the US). Really cool to visit and open year round!
The famous and gorgeous red rocks formations and trails at the Garden of the Gods Visitors Center and the Garden of the Gods Outpost (for tourist gifts, confections and food). All free to drive through and stop on hiking trails and watch various mountains climbers ascend and descend up and down the large rock formations!
Cave of the Winds, Helen Hunt Falls, Cheyenne Canyon, Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings, Manitou Incline, entrance to the top of Pikes where you will experience gorgeous view of the entire City. Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, CO (more tourist shops and restaurants) all very close to each other!
Take a drive through scenic Cheyenne Canon for hiking trails, scenic river and picnic enjoyment.
I-24 leads up the pass to great fishing lakes where you can buy a one-day or season pass catching large rainbow and cutthroat trout, Manitou incline has 2,744 actual dedicated steps making it a challenge from the bottom of the summit to the top! But you can stop in the middle of the incline and head over to Bar Trail (much easier challenge) Open year-round but requires reservations. Santa's workshop (which hosts Santa during Christmas and a kiddie park with various rides and other attractions.
From there you can continue up I-24 to Woodland Park., CO, a very nice mountain town. (approximately another 30 minute drive up the pass from I-24 West). From there travel further up the pass to Cripple Creek, CO (about a 30 minute drive from Woodland Park). It is a historic dedicated casino town with lots of separate casinos hosting various table games and slot machines. Most open 24 hours!. There are also restaurants and hotels. If desired the Ramblin Express leaves from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek and back several times during the day and night. Very beautiful and scenic drive by car or by bus!
Colorado skiing resorts from 1-24 west are also about a 2 hour drive (but please look at the map for exact travel time to each) Colorado ski towns include Vail/Aspen, Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe-Basin and Loveland. This area is referred to as the Mainstreet of the Rockies!
Finally, Palmer Park (named after William Jackson Palmer) and hosts rock formations and hiking trails and within minutes from unit. Bike path also within minutes where you can ride safely on dedicated bike path to both downtown and other parts of the City.
