About this property

Everything about this centrally located home is clean and immaculate.

New stainless steel appliances and carpet, fresh paint and granite counter tops. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the mudroom.

This 1927 rancher sleeps 6 comfortably. The master bedroom has its own full-bathroom and television.

We offer free high speed wireless internet, cable television and DVD player. The television in the living room is a 55" smart TV with Netflix and Hulu apps to use if you have an account.

Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and paper towels are included with your stay. We have newer dishes, utensils, pots, pans and small appliances. There is a wireless Bluetooth speaker and 4 port USB charging system.

The large backyard is fully-fenced. It has a propane grill, patio table and a wood burning fire pit for s'mores. We also have corn hole and a child-size picnic table.

There is a gate, right outside the back door, that leads to an off-street parking spot. There is room for one car or truck on a gravel driveway. Because this house is located on a corner lot, there is ample on-street parking as well.

This home is all one level, with only stairs to the front and back doors. We do not live in this home, so there is no shared space!

You're in walking distance to Starbucks, Dutch Bros. Coffee, Memorial Hospital and the Olympic Training Center. 3 minutes from Memorial Park, 6 minutes from Colorado College, 9 minutes from University of Colorado Colorado Springs, 13 minutes from the Broadmoor, 15 minutes from Garden of the Gods and 17 minutes to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Property was in a great location for us. House was clean. I wished there was a little garbage can in the master bathroom. The last night there I found it under the sink to the back of cabinet. We would rent again, if in the area.

A happy visit!

This was an excellent place to stay when visiting Colorado Springs. The location puts a visitor in a place where it is good to find anything they want to do our see. It has all amenities needed for a short or long visit. It is clean and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Enjoyable Stay

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. It was in a good location for our daily explorations. While I certainly did not feel unsafe at any time in the house or in the yard, there were always people milling around on the corner about a block away, that would have prevented me from wanting to walk the neighborhood. Only a couple of really minor complaints - the bath soaps provided are really small and hard to use. We went buy a full size bar of soap our second day there. Also, while I'm sure a lot of people just use the automatic dishwasher, with only two of us in our household, we usually just hand wash dishes. There was no dish drainer to put rinsed dishes in. Not a big deal, though. We just laid the dishes out on a towel. As I said those are really minor things. I would certainly rent this property again on any return trip to the area.

This home is located 2 blocks from the Olympic Training Center and Memorial Hospital. We are close to downtown Colorado Springs and Memorial Park. We love this area because we are close to so many attractions. This house is cozy and comfortable AND clean! We want our guests to feel like they're staying at a hotel, but with the conveniences of home. We have stocked this house with everything we can think of to make your stay enjoyable.
