Place was pretty clean, but could be improved. We came during a heat wave and the single A/C unit just couldn’t keep up. Rooms were so hot that it was uncomfortable to sleep at night, even with fans. That being said, I imagine this is rarely a problem given the perfect weather San Diego usually has. Location is convenient. Not far from train, airport, and downtown. I would definitely stay here again!

Thank you, Monica, for your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you found the home clean, conveniently located, and a place you’d stay again. We’re sorry the single A/C unit struggled to keep up during the heat wave, especially at night. We appreciate you sharing your experience and will keep your comments in mind as we continue improving the comfort of the home. We’d be happy to welcome you back on a future visit to San Diego.

We enjoyed our stay for location and convenience. The overall layout is nice, but the property is very tired. Furniture is in rough shape and the deck/front porch needs some work. We needed to do laundry-getting down to that area is very tricky. Also, the outdoor furniture is in bad shape. For the price in this area I suppose this is the norm?? Had a good trip but wouldn’t stay here again.

Great little apartment

The property was what we expected. Great location, central to everything. The hill it is on is steep, but we worked with it. It is near the airport, so you hear planes a lot, but we got used to it. Overall, we were pleased with the stay.

Location

The location to MCRD and the airport is great! However, if you have elderly family staying in the unit as well, you may want to re-think that. The unit is located on an incredibly steep hill and there are steps up to the front door.

A Wonderful Week!

A coworker and I visited the San Diego area to attend a professional conference. The folks at GOATHOTE, LLC were fantastic! They were communicative and helpful, their apartment is well-maintained and perfectly situated to many sites, restaurants, and activities in the San Diego area. Little Italy has much to do and see; we'll definitely be back! Thanks so much for a wonderful week, GOATHOTE, LLC!

Plane spotting

It's a small 2-bd place on a hill. Clean. There is street parking. Not for light sleepers though (as mentioned) as it's located in the landing path of airplanes and near a busy freeway. 10 minutes walk to little Italy. It served us well.

Quick family trip to San Diego

The property was as described, and clean and tidy inside. There was a slight odor indoors and a very strong urine odor on the porch area and outside the condo-it seems maybe there is a nearby homeless population that may sleep near the condo. We were only there long enough to sleep and shower and thankfully the beds were very comfortable.

Charming apartment

The place was really charming and just the right amount of space for 3 adults. Great location in San Diego as it was central to everything we wanted to do and felt very safe in this location. It had a very small bathroom which was accurately described in their listing. The beds were very comfortable. Even though you are by the airport and the freeway, it was fairly quiet in the unit. I never had issues sleeping. The filtered water in the frig was an added bonus.

The location and management were exceptional. They had rapid responses and always kind. The only problem was the kitchen dishes. We had to wash everything we used because it was all dirty. We believe it was from the visitors before because the entire place was extremely clean. Thank you and we would recommend the property to all.
