Entire Home for Your Private Stay

High Pointe Bellaire is rented as a single private home, giving guests exclusive use of both the main level and the lower-level suite.

In the past, we occasionally rented the lower level separately, but due to strong demand from larger families who wanted to stay together—and to simplify the guest experience—we now offer the entire home as one reservation.

This ensures guests enjoy complete privacy and full access to the property during their stay.

The Space

The home includes two fully equipped living levels, making it ideal for larger families or groups traveling together.

Main Level

• 3 bedrooms
• 4 beds: 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Full
• Sleeps up to 8 guests

The main level features a warm northern Michigan lodge feel with tongue-and-groove cedar walls and ceilings, vaulted living spaces, and a dramatic stone fireplace extending to the ceiling.

A wall of windows fills the living room with natural light while showcasing breathtaking views of Lake Bellaire year-round.

The kitchen features custom cabinetry handcrafted by a local artisan and is positioned so the panoramic lake views remain the focal point even while cooking or entertaining.

Main level amenities include:

• Fully equipped kitchen
• Dining room with lake views
• Sunken living room with fireplace
• Large laundry room with washer & dryer
• Two full bathrooms
• Direct access to the expansive deck

Main Floor
Bedroom One - Queen bed with a window overlooking the surrounding forest and hillside.

Bedroom Two - Queen bed and full bed with windows facing both the lake and wooded valleys.

Outdoor Living

One of the highlights of High Pointe Bellaire is the 1,400-square-foot multi-level deck overlooking the lake.

The deck includes a 20 × 12 gazebo, which we consider the outdoor living room of the house. With both lounge seating and dining furniture under cover, it’s the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, sunset dinners, or an evening glass of wine.

Wildlife is frequently seen on the property, including:

• Bald eagles
• Red-tailed hawks
• Deer
• Foxes

From the deck, you can also see Summit Mountain, Schuss Mountain, and Torch Lake Cellars perched across the lake.

Seasonal Stay Requirements - To accommodate peak demand:

Summer (June–August): 4-night minimum stay
Winter holiday season (Dec 15 – Mar 15): 4-night minimum stay

We had a super time at Hilltop Vista! Views were incredible, house and beds comfortable so it was a successful summer getaway. We loved the deck. It was great for a summer breeze and taking in the gorgeous views. The beach at Lake Bellaire was small and clean. One day we rented a boat and took it to Torch Lake. Beautiful ride. The little town of Bellaire and Short’s Brewing so close was great too! Many thanks!

What a gem! A beautiful home with serene views over Lake Bellaire, minutes from Torch Lake. The outdoor deck area is fully functional at least 3 seasons a year with a roofed area, fans and an outdoor heater. We will be returning here next year!

Deserves More Than 5 Stars

Our family of twelve can’t offer enough positive remarks about our first stay at this gorgeous property. I don’t know how our experience could have been any better! Every step of the process exceeded our expectations beginning with our introduction to the hosts, the client services they provided us for six months prior to our arrival, the warm welcome we received, and our continual surprise at everything their inviting home had to offer.I hope that you are fortunate enough to secure a stay. I can promise you you’ll want for nothing while you are there. Anything that you can think to bring (other than what’s in your suitcase) will already be waiting for you in the home. Extremely comfortable beds and bedrooms (never once heard the two toddlers who slept in the next room). Very comfortable furniture throughout including the inside and outside dining areas. An abundance of towels, kitchen gadgets, cookware, stemware, laundry, and cleaning supplies and firewood is at your disposal. Nothing will prepare you for the view from any of the many lake facing windows. Simply spectacular! We have not stopped talking about our trip and are already making plans to return next summer. I’m sure we’ll continue to make life long memories in Bellaire considering that its beauty and recreational opportunities are endless. We are all so grateful for this experience!

Best place ever

Where do I begin, as everything exceeded our expectations! House was spotless, and I do mean spotless! Everything we needed was there, we brought lawnchairs but didnt need them because the deck w/gazebo had plenty of "comfortable" seating. So as you can imagine with the couch, the chaise, rocking chair and table and chairs, and other seating majority of our time was spent right there, laughing, talking and taking in the amazing view!. Especially enjoyed not having to worry if we were laughing a little too loud as there's not neighbors right next door. Also had fun sitting around the campfire and no mosquitoes!! (We had the upper and lower rented). Comfortable beds, spacious, big TVs and no problem watching any shows. Everything is as described on the vrbo and not 1 of us had a bad thing to say about our stay. Everything is pretty convenient to get to if going out, (we rented a pontoon on torch lake). Host also responded back quickly when I had a question. You can't go wrong renting this place for sure!

About the host

About us - I met my wife on a surfing trip in the Dominican Republic ten years ago. About 8 years ago we started our first Airbnb business in Pompano Beach Florida. We wanted a warm weather place to spend some time during the cold Michigan months and at the same time to pay for the expense with short term rentals. We soon became super hosts by our commitment to provide the best possible service our guests and to provide only quality products for our guests’ use. Things like 800 count Egyptian cotton bed linens. Nice fluffy white towels. Quality cooking utensils and cutlery. Creating comfortable outdoor spaces and comping our guests with extras when at all possible, including late/early check outs. This means also being ready to address any kind of situation that could possibly arise Last year we decided that Florida traffic and crazy drivers was not going to be conducive for growing old together. So, we sold our three-bedroom Florida home with lanai pool and cool back yard. It was a tough decision, but we decided we preferred the Island Life and constructed our dream home in San Cristobal just outside Santo Domingo the capital of DR. Our DR home is 15 minutes from the beach and 25 minutes to the Capital downtown Santo Domingo. This is really our dream warm weather home set on two mountain top acres with incredible mountain and jungle views 365. Of course, its completely secured with alarm/security systems and perimeter masonry wall around the property. We plan to short term rental this property in the Dominican Republic commencing in 2023. We currently live in Lapeer Michigan on Lake Nepessing which we also short-term rental when staying at our other properties. See:

Why they chose this property

Why this property?

After searching Northern Michigan Lower Peninsula, we decided on purchasing this hilltop Lake Bellaire view property because of the absolute uniqueness of the property. It is truly a matchlessness, secluded private property that commands the most awesome views of the surrounding country including Lake Bellaire, Shanty Creek Resorts / Summit Mountain (which is spectacularly lit during the winter months).

We love the ambiance of this locale especially the village of Bellaire and being five minutes from Torch Lake. There is so much to do here (or in a short distance from here) that it is simply mind boggling …. from premier golfing, to hiking, biking, boating, kayaking, visiting wineries, skiing, snowboarding tubing etc. The people around here are down to earth and friendly. The weather is amazing and interesting. You never know if the day will be a blue “domer” with the sun blazing down or if stormy weather and clouds will be moving in to watch in spectacular environment from our 1400 SF deck outdoors or inside splendid living room view. The surrounding landscapes make dramatic views from many windows in our home and walking the property. You also have incredible lake views from our kitchen dining room, and two bedrooms on the main level as well as the lower level.

What makes this property unique

Unique benefits: Privacy and Seclusion in 20 acres of wooded towering Maples and hilltop Buena vistas. Peace, tranquility and quiet in nature. Amazing living fireplace on the main level fueled with a seemingly endless supply of firewood and kindling. Outdoor hilltop fire pit to enjoy awesome evenings of kicking back around a campfire telling stories jokes singing songs and enjoying family and friends.
