Warm and welcoming golf-front home offers all the pleasant family time and opportunities that a mountain getaway at Wintergreen provides. 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are available in this modern three level home. Upgraded kitchen, baths, and flooring are there for you to enjoy a beautiful mountain escape during all four seasons. The open concept living and dining areas contain a large television with comfortable seating, a fireplace to cozy up with a warm cup of cocoa, and a substantial table to make memories with loved ones during meals and game nights. The back deck enclosed by mature trees allows for superior privacy while appreciating the cooler summer nights and fall foliage. The lower level game room holds another television, pool table, and foosball to experience with friends and family.

Open golf field in the back of the house provides a great opportunity for small children to play outdoors, as well as engage in softball, catch or pickleball while enjoying fresh mountain air. Accessible before 10 am and after 5 pm.
Walk and start your golf play on the award winning golf course right from the backyard. The Spa and Fitness Center is about 1.5 mile down the mountain where you can enjoy a massage after a long day outdoors and those workout zealots will find a well equipped exercise room. Guests can relax in the Chestnut Spring heated pools, Jacuzzis and saunas, equipped with children water facilities, or play at the tennis courts, use the archery range and attractive Stony Creek fishing ponds, (please request pool and fishing ponds passes in advance- up to 6 guests).
Alternatively, enjoy brisk walks on miles long golf course trails right from the back door. More adventurous explorers will find numerous hiking trails, scenic overlooks, nature preserves, and waterfalls that are just a short drive away.
At the end of the day take a short walk uphill on the golf course to be greeted by a stunning sunset. Don’t forget your portable chairs and wine.

Route 151 Trail is known for a variety of amazing restaurants, wineries, antique stores, Cideries and distilleries, Devils Backbone Brewpub, Bold Rock Hard Cidery, Wild Wolf Brewery and Wood Ridge Farm being among just a few. Most offer various outdoor games and live band performances in addition to tasty cuisine menus.

Perfect for family ski trip

The seven of us all thoroughly enjoyed the house, and we spent hours together down in the game room enjoying each others company. The mud room was perfect for coming home from a day at the nearby slopes, and the proximity to the Wintergreen slopes (6 minutes by car) is phenomenal. Dining table was great for easily accommodating all 7 of us without any crowding. The supply of tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, linens, towels was outstanding--best we've ever had in a vacation rental property!

Family ski weekend

Great weekend at Wintergreen! House was well appointed with fully stocked kitchen. Recent snowfall and cold temperatures made for great sledding on the fairway just steps from the back deck. Kids loved the downstairs game room and tv area. Check in was a breeze. Hope to come stay again this summer.

Family ski trip

yearly family ski getaway

we were happy with the accomodations, especially the pool and ping pong room for the kids. There was a problem with the kitchen sink incinerator and one of the toilets. The kitchen sink was taken care of in a timely manner. Overall, we were happy with the house.

Great place in Wintergreen

The house was really good and well cared for. Everything was clean. The backyard was full of fall leaves, which made it a bit challenging to navigate the ground, but that's expected at this time of the year. By the same token, it provided the right fall ambience. Fire pit in the back yard is great, but better seating would make it more enjoyable. Host was very accommodating, easy to communicate with, prompt in responding, and one couldn't have asked for a better host.
