It was a beautiful property and house!! Everything we needed was there, and we didn’t need to worry about bringing basic items. The house was so clean when we got there, and there was so much space for our party of five. The beds were so soft and comfy. The porch swing was THE BEST!! We spent so much time on it! It was definitely a highlight of our trip. The pool we had access to was fantastic! Check out was the easiest I’ve ever have. I would definitely recommend and want to go back soon!

Quite possibly the best rental property we've ever stayed at. The house and grounds were gorgeous and they provided everything we needed. The pool area was a high point for our kids and we went there every day. Everyone there was very friendly and the pool was well kept. We saw deer outside every day, many times from the back deck. The swinging bed on the front porch was very comfortable and was a resting/reading spot for all. We ended up going to a lot of the LBL areas like the Bison Prairie, Nature Center, and the Golden Pond Planetarium and had a great time at all of them. We would definitely rent here again if we came back to LBL.

Heron's Rest was the perfect spot for a lakeside getaway with friends. The house is beautiful with a large porch, and the fire pit was nice too. The pool is a short drive from the property, but was more than manageable. Highly recommend booking a stay here.

Outstanding, comfortable home for a weekend getaway. Beautifully appointed with both inside and outside spaces to relax and enjoy company. Only miss is that you can’t walk to a water view. But you can’t have everything!! Great location for Murray State Family weekend. Thank you!
