About this property

Skyview Terrace

Welcome to Skyview Terrace!  Open and full of natural light, this third level studio suite features incredible views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Peaks and sweeping views of the San Luis Valley.  Enjoy dark starry night skies on the deck by the warmth of the fire table and walk to the creek trail from the parking area in just a few minutes. This Skyview suite features one king bed and one queen bed, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, spacious full bathroom, open living area with a bistro table, television, cozy chair, couch that folds out into a bed and washer and dryer. This location is amazing; on the greenbelt with Creekside hiking/walking trail that leads to the park downhill and heads uphill to connect to the trail system that will take you all the way to Willow Lake and other excellent local hikes.
The living room is spacious and open with a functional studio style layout; offering plenty of space to spread out on the couch and lounger to watch movies or star gaze from the panoramic window views. The kitchen has everything you need; an oven/stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, blender, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, waffle maker and more. The kitchen and dining area is open, yet cozy loaded with dishware, cookware and bakeware for cooking during your stay or retreat. There is a second open sleeping area adjacent to the dining area with a queen bed and beautiful valley views from the window. The living area and kitchen/dining area can be separated with privacy curtains to create two private rooms for sleeping at night if needed. The bathroom is unique and spacious with picture windows of the mountains and beautiful valley views and a sitting area that is great for watching the sunset over the valley floor.
Your stay at Skyview Terrace includes a self-serve simple breakfast.  We offer a very simple selection of tea, coffee, fruit, oatmeal and waffle mix for the waffle maker. There's a small blender and juicer as well as pots pans and skillets for cooking and a simple selection of utensils for baking.  A laundry closet with washer and dryer makes this a great space for extended stays and quiet retreats.
While you will have a totally private parking area, entrance and suite this property is home to a couple with dogs and cats. The third level deck is completely private, there is a second outdoor deck space that guests have access to located on the second story deck on the way up to the third level. Here guests are welcome to use the BBQ griddle and bench chair with table.  Please note however that you may be greeted by very friendly dogs and kitties!  Please do not let the cats inside your suite.  You will find the black and white cat is very curious and social and may try to sneak in your door as you come and go so please keep an eye out. If for some reason he gets inside the apartment and you need help retrieving him, contact the property manager and she will assist you.

Our time at Skyview
We had a fantastic experience staying here. The apartment was gorgeous, everything we could’ve needed was provided for us, and the neighborhood was beautiful and safe. We enjoyed our time at this property just as much as we did exploring around the area. I would love to stay here again if I return to the area.
