You know what they say about 2 being better than one. Instead of renting one home on the lake, here is your chance to rent two on one of the flattest, easiest access lots on the main channel of Douglas Lake.

These TWO PET-FRIENDLY LAKE HOMES can be rented by themselves but are now easily found here as one rental called ALMOST HEAVEN for families that need a large space for up to 14 guests.

Seventh Heaven and Next To Heaven are located at the mouth of Muddy Creek and the Main Channel of beautiful Douglas Lake. The large easy access property with many feet of lake frontage has lots of flat land for your recreational needs. It also offers beautiful views of the lake and the Smoky Mountains.

This property is approximately 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge and several entrances to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

There are several boat rental venues and marinas nearby. In addition, if the launch at the property does not suit your needs at the time of your rental, a year round free launch is available (not far by water) and about 15 minutes by car.

IMPORTANT:

No smoking inside.

PET are allowed. Since VRBO does not give us the option to price per pet at booking. We will need the number of pets and their sizes prior to finalizing the pet costs. The price shown on your invoice initially will be for one pet.

This is a fluctuating lake where levels are controlled by the TN Valley Authority. These properties have year round water frontage. In the off season, the docks and the launch may not be useable but there is always bank fishing and lake views at both homes. If you have any questions about lake levels, please inquire before sending in a reservation request.

This combination of properties that sit on the same location may be the perfect choice for your large group by offering plenty of space inside and out while giving families the chance to have time on their own as well as being together.

Great place to stay.

The only problem that I can say was the winding road getting to the property. Once we got there everything was really nice. The places were really clean. My son in law enjoys running in the early morning and he saw several deer and one bear. Everyone in my family enjoyed our family enjoyed our stay end would recommend staying here.

Vacation 23

We loved the house right on the lake. It was peaceful and so relaxing. Unfortunately, we didn't realize how far apart the houses are, especially when you have family in both. The neighbor and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The owner was working a lot. The houses needed extea cleaning. There were webs in many locations and the bathroom in the main house was dirty. Besides these couple of things, I honestly loved it there and would rent again.

Fun week

14 family members in both houses. Worked out perfectly because the “older” people could go to bed and not be disturbed. The kids loved bed swimming and fishing. The owner was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend

Douglas Lake Retreat

We booked these two homes for a family vacation and it was lovely. We had a wonderful time reconnecting with everyone, got gorgeous photos, and loved the relaxing atmosphere. The owners were so gracious. They let our party use their dock and pavilion and even gave us fresh cucumbers out of their garden! We were close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to conquer Splash Country and Anakeesta, but there was really no need to leave the lake. There were breathtaking views from both houses. One has a large deck with elevated views of the lake while the other has a wraparound porch offering stunning lakeside views as well as the mountains beyond. There were a few hiccups with our departure, but the positives far outweigh the negatives. :). Lifelong memories were made, for sure.
