this was an amazing property that we stayed at. TBh considering we were there all week for LE training i hated that we didnt get to enjoy as much as it should have been. will definitely keep this one of hi pri list to book again for an actual vacation.

Beautiful and fun!

This property is just beautiful and well cared for. We had an awesome time just getting away, enjoying the amenities, the game room, large TV, and hot tub. It was wonderful to get to reconnect as a family and enjoy some time away. Strongly recommend and look forward to visiting again soon!

Amazing stay

This property is rural, clean, and very comfortable. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept on in a rental. The house was well equipt and kept our teens busy. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Amazing

The stay was simply amazing. We spent 9 days there and there’s lots of things to do around the place. Every single amenity was provided, including towels, laundry and dishwasher detergents, firewood, etc. We really enjoyed the game room and the huge curved TV in the living room.

Mom& daughter get away

Property was very clean and organized! Owner left many staple items for guests to enjoy and replace if they wanted to (but not obligated). Check in and out was super easy. Game room and hot tub were upscale and clean. Gated neighborhood was very nice and home was easily accessed by any type of vehicle. Pond on Property was not in best condition due to nature overgrowth but a much larger pond was just down the street near the playground. I would recommend this home for sure.

Wonderful Christmas.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is amazing and fully stocked. The property manager is very responsive. My family and I spent Christmas there. Our worry was the bad weather. Temperature plummeted below freezing but the cabin was efficiently heated. We would definitely do it again.

A beautiful "peace" of calm

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful! The driveway was a little steeper than we anticipated but the kids managed just fine. The community building wasn't quite as advertised (definitely run down) but that's not really a negative to the lodge. Lindsay was wonderful to work and communicate with. It was a great week relaxing and reconnecting with friends!

Great place for extended stays with children!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The pond and its fish were a huge attraction for my kids and I wished we brought fishing poles to catch and release. The game room has seen a lot of use and was the second biggest attraction, specifically ping pong, for the kiddos. Location and access to the cabin was perfect and isn't hard to get to without 4 wheel drive. The interior of the cabin is well done and very clean. They supply just about everything one would need to cook for a family making it a near turn-key kind of stay.

Beautiful cabin, excellent location

The setup of this cabin is really well thought out. The kitchen is well-stocked. The cabin is very neat and clean. The garage is a real treat! It's a game room with plenty of games for the whole family! There is a small pond on the property with lots of small fish which was perfect for our 7 year old. He had a blast fishing and watching the fish! The location can't be beat since the community house is within walking distance. The community center has basketball, mini golf, playground, trampoline, air hockey, old school video games, and so much more! Highly rated! The only improvements I can recommend are later check out time and earlier check in time :)

The cabin is absolutely perfect. Lindsay has thought of everything you could need. There is an ample supply of everything from toilet paper to shampoo to laundry soap. We always bring our own because there is usually like two Tide pods and one roll of paper towels, etc. We lacked nothing that we needed. The cabin is clean and peaceful and beautiful. It’s about 15 minutes into Marion and about 45 minutes into Asheville. The drive into Asheville is easy and scenic. We had no issue driving into Asheville several times during our stay. We also enjoyed visiting Marion… recommend McDowells Local for lunch/dinner. Get the pork rinds and pimento cheese and you will leave happy. I’d skip Countryside BBQ - service was spotty and food was bland. I forget the name of the place but you must stop at the nursery/store near the BBQ place and buy the Grainger County tomato’s. Never ever have I had a better tomato. Thank you Lindsay for hosting us. Can’t wait to come back.

Gorgeous cabin getaway

Woodland Hills was just the relaxation we needed. The cabin looked brand new and we slept terrific in the king sized bed. We felt spoiled by morning coffee in rocking chairs out on the sunny porch that overlooks the pond, and made friends with 2 hawks that did fly-overs each day. The big, outdoor firepit was a cozy end to the nights. But the best part was the huge gameroom with giant jenga, darts and a ping-pong table. It was unexpected & fun to have a separate space to hang out. We did take an excursion to a local winery and ended up bringing several bottles home. Can't wait to return to these mountain views!
