About this property
Secluded Mountain Cabin on Private Pond · Fireplace · Hiking Trails · WiFi
Secluded, private, and oh-so cozy! This cabin will quickly become your favorite mountain getaway.
Tucked away at the end of a quiet gravel road in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, the cabin sits beside a private fishing pond and is surrounded by thousands of acres of peaceful woodland. It’s the perfect place for a romantic getaway, peaceful retreat, or quiet weekend in nature. You’ll feel completely away from it all—while still enjoying modern comforts like WiFi, air conditioning, heat, a wood stove, fire pit, and hiking trails right on the property.
Inside, the cabin features an extremely comfortable luxury full-size bed with freshly cleaned sheets and a cozy comforter. A rolling library-style ladder leads to the loft where you’ll find two twin mattresses with fresh linens and blankets, perfect for additional guests.
The living room is warm and inviting, with a wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player with a collection of movies, a bookshelf with books, two large comfortable chairs, rechargeable dimmable candles, and a large window that brings the beauty of the outdoors inside.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, pots, pans, plates, silverware, utensils, microwave, table, and a Keurig coffee maker. We provide K-cups for your stay along with dish soap, towels, salt and pepper, sugar, coffee creamer, and other essentials so you have everything you need to cook and relax.
The cabin also includes a full bathroom with a flushing toilet, large stand-up shower, sink, fresh towels and washcloths, toilet paper, hand soap, a first-aid kit, and cleaning supplies.
Outside, enjoy evenings around the fire ring, perfect for relaxing or cooking over an open flame. A picnic table and chairs are provided for outdoor meals. The private pond has fish in it, and guests are welcome to feed them while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Several hiking trails begin right on the property and lead to beautiful natural features like rock outcroppings, caves, and waterfalls waiting to be explored.
The cabin is completely private and secluded, and you will have the entire property to yourself during your stay.
My husband Elvis and I built this cabin with our own hands, always with our guests in mind. We created this space so you could step away from the busy world, slow down, reconnect with nature, and truly rest.
If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded mountain cabin where you can truly unplug and relax, this is the place.
Once you arrive, you may find it hard to leave.
