Nice little cabin! This is a good cabin rental for your small group. Everything worked out well. The design isn’t as spacious as others we’ve stayed in. The grounds are wonderful. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working when we stayed. Also a word of caution, the driveway is gravel and fairly steep. Bill, the owner, was great to work with.

This place is amazing if you are looking to have a nice private get away. Completely secluded. Beautiful landscape and scenery. A great place to visit that you'll never want to leave.

This was the most lovely vacation cabin conveniently located not far from town, yet still felt private and secluded. It was beautiful! The cabin is the perfect size for a couple looking to get away for some time together.We explored the creek, went fishing in the stocked pond, relaxed in the hot tub (which overlooked the beautiful property), and spent time around the fire. It was an escape from the fast-paced lifestyle we are so accustomed to, and we're already making plans to return again in the future. The ability to wash dry laundry was a lifesaver and so convenient! The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishware, and the like, and with the grocery store not being too far away, it made dinner a breeze!We explored Lake Lure & Chimney Rocks State Park, made the trek out to Bryson City and Deep Creek Campground for some whitewater tubing (so fun), enjoyed a ride with Riverside Riding Stables, and spent time in nearby downtown Rutherfordton. We truly made the most wondeful memories together and we look forward to returning again someday soon!

Lovely little spot

The drive (for us) was easy, directions to the cabin were easy to follow, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the owner was very pleasant and cordial as he wished us well before we left. Couple of fun little nuggets for the reader...1) no dishwasher. Plan accordingly.2) no chain restaurants around, so expect to cook or grab food at a local spot, most of which were rated well, but we didn't eat out anywhere.3) ensure your vehicle has enough clearance, the road to the cabin is unfinished, but relatively smooth.Other than that, which isnt negative at all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 9.5/10, would recommend.

Place was awesome. Good wifi, clean hot tub, everything working, isolated and exactly what we wanted. 20 mins from Lake Lure, 30 from Chimney Rock... Great place to kickback and enjoy nature and take in the sights.

Perfect cabin rental

The location is beautiful ❤️ Cabin was clean and well maintained. Bring air mattresses and enjoy the cozy loft for sleeping. Fish by the pond, relax by the fire pit, or soak in the hot tub. Owner was kind and a joy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend for others!

Absolutely Loved Our Stay

Location is beautiful, quiet, and serene. The cabin was neat, clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Our host, Bill Elliott, was most gracious and accommodating. Would recommend to friends and go again ourselves.

We had an absolute blast at Piney Knob cabin! The location was perfect. It was secluded and quiet and very peaceful. Even got some fishing done! The cabin was super clean and nice! Easy check in and check out process! We will definitely be returning in the future!

Great trip

This is our 2nd time staying at this cabin. We have a great time while here. The property is beautiful. My kids have the best time playing in the stream and fishing in the pond. We can not wait to come back!
