We had a wonderful girls long weekend stay! There were 5 of us ladies and it was very spacious and very clean! We took advantage of the hot tub, fire pit and grill. The wrap around porch was perfect for morning coffee and cocktails during the evening. The only thing we could have used more of was, mirrors we would definitely stay there again. A huge thank you to Jason for managing the rental and making sure our stay was perfect!

Great location, walking distance to the beach and variety of restaurants and shops. The house itself was very well stocked with all items that you could need as well as kept very clean. (even the hot tub was spotless and obviously cleaned recently). Overall we really enjoyed our time at Captain Cook and definitely will be back!

We had a clean, comfortable, quiet and well-appointed stay at Captain Cook. Superb location walkable to shopping, restaurants, and lake. Property Owners helped us out by putting up some birthday decorations in advance. Highly recommend!

Spacious home in great location

We booked this property for a family gathering and it didn’t disappoint! The kitchen is gorgeous, plenty of space, and the bedrooms are all large. The family especially enjoyed bbq night dining on the porch, playing bags and finishing the night making s’mores at the fire pit. An easy five minute walk to the beach makes this a perfect location. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home! Only 3 blocks to the lake and shops. Sleeping arrangements and gathering spaces were perfect for our group. Attention to detail was definitely evident in the home and necessities. A warm welcome was provided❤️. We had an amazing time!

Amazing Stay in Lake Geneva

Our family of 5 absolutely loved staying in Lake Geneva at this VRBO. The house was beyond family friendly - all of the furniture was comfortable, there were rugs and carpets in key areas, children amenities and tons of toys and games for both children and adults. Perfect location, walking distance to Lake, shops, and playground. Solid communication from the owners. We would certainly return again the future.

Perfect getaway

It was our annual girls trip & we couldn’t have picked a better home. It was designed beautifully…so warm & cozy & immediately felt like home! As we enter the house, the owners had left us a very nice, thank you along with a cinnamon strudel, what a wonderful touch. The location was absolutely ideal, walkable to downtown and many shops and restaurants. Most of the time we stayed at the house, just playing games, laughing and eating. We would definitely go back and I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Lake Geneva.

Lake Geneva Home

We had a wonderful stay and a wonderful Christmas! This was a perfect get away. We all loved the location just a few short blocks away from the heart of downtown Lake Geneva. The host had the home decorated for the holidays which made it very festive. We appreciated the hosts quick response to any questions that we had. The home was newly renovated with lots of room for our whole family. We would definitely go back. We rated it 5 stars in every category!!

Starter Kits unexceptable

Great downtown location. But ifbstayingba few nights bring all your own paper products, trash bags and hand towels. They r not supplied even though add on vrbo states its included.

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the downtown location. As outlined in our arrival instructions, we provide a standard starter supply of paper products and essentials, which is typical in the vacation rental industry. This includes 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 garbage bags per can, laundry soap, hotel-style shampoo and conditioner, a facial bar, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, a sponge, and a kitchen towel. We also supply 2 bath towels per person, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth per person, and bath mats for each bathroom. Before arrival, the guest demanded 24 rolls of toilet paper, 4 rolls of paper towels, and an entire roll of garbage bags for their 4-night stay with 8 people. We do provide paper products, and as a courtesy, we provided more than usual—12 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, and 10 garbage bags. We apologize if this still wasn't sufficient; we thought that would be plenty for your stay. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to host you again!
