The small property SPOURGITIS is located on a shared nature property with olive trees, Mediterranean plants and flowers. The 2 detached houses and a two-storey house with 2 holiday apartments are located one behind another and slightly offset, with a distance of approx. 10 m between each other. The houses are located just above the fine and extensive beach of Peroulia, in a slight hillside situation.
The simply furnished holiday house SPOURGITIS 1 is slightly offset to the back, behind the holiday house SPOURGITIS 2, in a row with the holiday apartments SPOURGITIS 3 and 4. It is on elevated ground floor, approx. 7 steps, and entry is via the terrace. The 2 bedrooms and the shared bath are adjoining to the kitchen. From the kitchen you have direct access to the roofed terrace with a partial sea view.
The extensive sandy beach of Peroulia with sunbeds and parasols is in walking distance and invites you to bath and relax.
The close-by picturesque village Koroni with its port scenery, taverns and cafés make a nice change from the quiet and secluded area around Peroulia. Especially charming are also the towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messenia. There are also many untouched beaches on the coastline between Koroni and Pylos.

Very pleasant stay. Quiet (normally there are several neighbours) simple but comfortable place, beds could be a bit more comfortable though. Landlord gave us a warm welcome with his own olive oil and olives. Very friendly

Wir haben als Familie eine tolle Zeit dort verbracht. Der Vermieter war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattung war einfach, aber sehr sauber und der Garten mit den Olivenbäumen drum herum war wunderschön. Wir würden jederzeit dort nochmal unseren Urlaub verbringen!

Uns hat die Athmosphäre im Aussenbereich um die drei Spourgits-Häuschen sehr gut gefallen! Auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich, wenn auch sprachlich eingeschränkt. Wir kommen wieder, wenn es neue Matratzen gibt und einen Herd mit 2 normal grossen Kochplatten. Alles Gute, efcharisto!

Wir waren im Sommer 2019 mit 4 Personen in dem kleinen Ferienhaus. Campingerprobte Individualtouristen werden sich hier sehr wohl fühlen. Der Blick von der Veranda ist traumhaft, der super saubere Naturstrand in ca. 7 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, die Zikaden haben ohne Unterlass gesungen und die Temperatur war um die 32°C. Zwischendurch haben wir de Klimaanlage angestellt, die prima funktioniert hat. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist funktional und einfach, aber für Frühstück und Pasta absolut ausreichend. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 3 km entfernt - für die Gäste, die in Kalamata landen, macht es ggf. Sinn, sich im Lidl neben dem Flughafen mit der Grundausstattung einzudecken. Das Haus ist leicht zu finden, wenn man von der Hauptstraße zwischen Kalamata und Koroni nach dem Ort Nea Koroni den Schildern zum Restaurant Peroulia folgt. Das ist auch das einzige Restaurant, das fußläufig von der Unterkunft erreichbar ist, für alles andere ist man auf ein Auto angewiesen. Die Nachbarhäuser waren auch bewohnt, aber wir haben von den anderen Feriengästen nichts mitbekommen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich: wir haben uns gut auf Englisch verständigt, als Gastgeschenk hat er uns selbst angebautes, köstliches Olivenöl hingestellt und ist am Vorabend der Abreise ist er extra noch einmal gekommen, um uns zu verabschieden. Empfehlenswerte Ausflüge sind: Polylimnio Wasserfälle, das Kloster innerhalb der Festung von Koroni, Bootstour mit AreionSail, Methoni und Pylos. Wir waren auf jeden Fall begeistert und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder auf die Peloponnes!
