STONE'S THROW BEACH STUDIO - next to the Sea

The COVID-19 pandemic has left us all feeling scared but now the Greek government has decided to open up to tourism.
Messinia remains a safe haven with very few cases reported.
Although we can now eat at restaurants and sit in cafes, the 2 mtrs between tables is being observed and staff are required to self test several times a week.
Masks remain mandatory, especially when shopping.
Just 3 people to a car now and a 12.30 in the evening curfew.



Stone’s throw Cottage & Studio are located outside the town. Koroni centre is an easy 20 min walk or a 5 min drive away. Both properties are safe, secluded havens, set amongst an olive grove with direct access to a peaceful, uncrowded beach.
Both houses are fully equipped to allow for a very comfortable and relaxing stay, putting guests in command of how much they interact with the local community.

Cleaning & disinfecting procedures have been ramped up to ensure the safety of our
guests.

This is your perfect beach accommodation! Just a few meters from the sea and the glorious sandy beach known as Zaga, home to nesting Loggerhead Turtles between July and August.
A traditional property, no frills but perfectly suits the location and the climate.
The property is detached and is separated by a garden from Stone's Throw Cottage, a larger property. These properties can be rented separately or together for larger parties.
Inside the studio is one room comprising a raised platform with mattress for sleeping (Greek Style), there are cupboards and hanging space for clothes in this room, also a double bed/settee for a couple with very small children.
Wifi can be enjoyed at this property and there is air/conditioning in the sleeping/living room.

The next room , with its own front door has a fully fitted kitchen with full sized cooker, fridge/freezer and sink with drainer. There are all utensils, pots and pans etc. a kettle, toaster and juicer. There are tea and coffee making facilities.

There is no indoor shower, but a lovely outdoor shower, surrounded by a wall for privacy, hot water is provided by a solar panel and the toilet and basin are accessed through the outdoor shower space. It really is quirky and fun!

There is a terrace at the front of the property, facing the sea, it has a built in, raised concrete bed with mattress and cushions for that afternoon siesta or sleeping outside in the Summer. There is also a table and chairs for outdoor dining.
Imagine sleeping in a hammock, slung between the Tamarisk trees on a hot Summer's day, listening to the sound of the waves, and dipping into the clear, blue sea to cool off whenever you feel like it.....
