Great place. Very close to our son and daughter in law so I feel sure we will be reaching out again when we visit Durham. Great outdoor space for our dogs. Nice, clean, and comfortable beds! Enjoyed our stay.
This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely property! It is perfect for a visit to the area: clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed, and close to everything! Hopefully, we will stay again sometime!
What a perfect spot!! Very private backyard, no poison ivy whatsoever. The manager was quick to respond to any questions, the house manual was clear and concise. The kitchen was wonderful. The house was close to EVERYTHING. Manual contains best places to eat, things to do, places to see, etc. Looking forward to staying there again!!

Great place for little family
My husband and my kids we stay there nice location nice place just was dirty the couch full of dogs hairs floors was dirty door was trouble to open that rest was okay
The bungalow is small, but so well designed! It feels roomier than it actually is. Lots of nice amenities. There is a great deck in the back and fenced yard for our two dogs. Would stay again.
I had my disabled adult daughter and two dogs with me. The home met all our needs including a fenced back yard and beautiful back deck. Some lighting outside didn’t work and the place could have been a bit cleaner (little more attention to detail) but overall nice stay! Recommend TV in at least one bedroom.
I was traveling for work and arrived at the house at 5:30pm and it was dark outside. The lockbox was not on the front door as shown in the video that the host provided. The carport was filled with trash and overflowing bins. There were no outside lights and I was forced to use my cell phone flashlight to find my way. I could not access the property and did not stay there. The host was rude when I contacted him for assistance. His responses were not encouraging as he told me continuously that I “did not follow the instructions provided”. Very disappointed!!

Cute but very small older home, the attention to detail with the cleaning was not excellent but it was not dirty by any means. The baseboards and shower did have dirt and hair on them but I’m not very picky so it didn’t bother me too much. The biggest issue was that the key to the back door didn’t really fit ?! It took us FOREVER to unlock or lock the door, and there were only 2 towels…for 4 guests for 3 days. When I reached out about laundry there was no key to access the washer downstairs and the manger said they would bring towels but they never did. It was also pretty loud from the road noise. And the house smelled weird? The kitchen was well stocked though and the beds were comfortable.

So-So and Not Really Dog Friendly
We chose this property because it was dog friendly, with a deck, four chairs and a fenced in back yard! (We were bringing our daughter's dog to visit. She is a patient at Duke and hasn't seen her dog in 4 weeks.) We were VERY disappointed. The back yard had growth/weeds a foot high. No grass to be seen. It was also very overgrown with bamboo and Virginia creeper, and we spotted poison ivy. This yard has not been tended to in years. Although all fees were supposed to be included in the quote, you get hit with insurance and taxes when you go to pay which adds a lot. Then after I agreed to that and paid they tried to hit me for a pet fee, which I refused. Inside was OK. Cleanliness was a B-. I wouldn't go barefoot, my husband risked the shower. The bed was Ok, the pillows were awful. There was one dishtowel. Rules were a little extravagant for such a low rent place. No visitors without permission and not after 10, etc. Location was central for our requirements.
The property itself is fine. The beds had not been changed! Unclean comforter and sheets. It had animal and human hair on them. Everything else was as advertised.
We spent a September weekend in Durham visiting our daughter. This is the first time we rented this property. The house was in beautiful condition & completely renovated in HGTV style! The location was also great for Duke related events!
This was an absolutely amazing stay at this property we were extremely pleased with everything during our stay!!!! Our daughter got to enjoy her elite basketball camp and be in a location to visit several schools in the area. The property was very clean, the property looked great in person and Brad the property owner was great to us. The location was very nice and safe I highly recommend this property it was an absolutely gorgeous setting.
clean, great for dogs, convenient to the Duke campus
We were in town for a Duke reunion. The home was clean, the back deck was awesome, and the fenced yard was great for our dogs. We would stay here again!
