Situated on a very large lot, with a private back yard, this 6 bedroom, 2 bath home is perfect for 2 or 3 families, or your long-overdue family reunion. Walking distance to all of the best Santa Cruz has to offer: Cowell's Beach, the Municipal Wharf, the Boardwalk, Steamer Lane, the surfing museum and downtown Santa Cruz.

This wonderful home was built in 1946 for one of the pioneer fishing families in Santa Cruz. It is truly the quintessential FAMILY home. All on one level, pecan hardwood floors throughout. The backyard is perfect for croquet or bocce ball. A soak in the large, private hot tub will provide a perfect end for your perfect day at the beach.

We have thought of and provided everything that you will need for a fun, relaxing and memorable vacation in Santa Cruz. You will not be disappointed!

This is the best location for your Santa Cruz beach vacation. You will want to come back again and again!

We take our guest's safety seriously. We have 3 outdoor security cameras that do not have a view into any private spaces. They are not monitored by us, unless there is an incident that requires us to look back through footage.

Great Location, Wonderful Spaces to Relax and Be With Family

We were able to easily access the property with keypad code. This house is a perfect spot for large groups of friends or family. The living area is large and comfortable, with multiple sitting areas. The kitchen has an abundance of cooking and serving supplies, 2 sinks and a large gas range with 2 ovens. Walking distance to Boardwalk, Wharf, Lighthouse, beaches.

A Week At The Beach

My husband and I brought our oldest daughter, our son-in-law and two grandsons (24 &26) from Washington, our youngest son from Texas and our youngest daughter, son-in-law and grandson (6) who live near us in San Jose to Santa Cruz. We went to the Wharf, the beach, the Boardwalk, the Mystery Spot and a strawberry farm. we had two BBQs. All three of our grandsons loved the large backyard. The hot tub was popular. Two of our grandsons played guitar and one of our sons played b. drums. The house had a large kitchen, dining room, living room and backyard. We had a great time!

Great family spot

The place was perfect for my mom and her kids, grandkids and great grandkids We could spread out to relax and socialize outside or in the large living area,and then gather and dine together at one big table The kitchen was large and well-stocked with cookware and serving dishes All of the bedrooms were large and bright. The location was perfect for walking to the beach, the Boardwalk,and even to the lighthouse Jill,our host,took time to respond to us from her own vacation and was very helpful We had a wonderful time

This 6-bedroom place was perfect for a family reunion. Quick walk to beach, by everything, and takes children and dogs. The house is beautiful and spacious, including the backyard with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked. We hope to return for another!!

Super Size Home and Great Location

Large Six bedroom home with excellent kitchen facilities, dining room and Grand living room! Comfortable outdoor seating and dining. Easy walk to beach, boardwalk and pier. Great Santa Cruz getaway

This house has 6 very spacious bedrooms plus a huge dining table and very large living room with ample seating. It was the perfect home base for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids for a week of fun in Santa Cruz. Walkable to West Cliff Dr and the Boardwalk, the house was really excellent and we had everything we needed. Note that there were no products in the bathrooms (soap, shampoo etc) so we had to buy those (and extra toilet paper and paper towels because not much was provided). I would recommend getting some plastic dishes and bowls too for use with small kids.

Lovely Santa Cruz getaway

We absolutely loved the close location to the beach and Boardwalk The amenities were plenty we cooked most our meals in house and appreciated having access to the laundry as we have a large family. My kids enjoyed endless hours of fun in Santa Cruz. Parking was the most difficult about this situation. It is very limited near the house. Neighbors were pleasant.

Chill week in SC

During our week in Santa Cruz, we enjoyed a comfortable stay. The house was spacious and clean. The backyard was perfect for our dogs to relax and play. The house is located on a busy corner and it could be difficult to find parking during the day as people like to park on Bay and walk to the beach. If there had been a driveway with parking, it would have been a bit easier to find parking in front of the property. Overall nice place with a convenient location.

Amazing home with 6 bedrooms that are all equally special. No fighting over who gets the best room!

I came to Santa Cruz to do a burial at sea for my husband who passed away at the age of 49. We put his ashes in the Pacific on his 50th birthday. This home was perfect for my occasion. The stove in the kitchen is top grade. The deck in the backyard was just perfect.

Top Notch vacation home

This large, sprawling ranch style home, accommodated our group of 10 perfectly with ample space. It truly offers indoor outdoor living with the large patio and back, patio tables, couches and complete privacy. Our group enjoyed the hot tub as well. An easy walk to the boardwalk and to the wharf, in our favorite neighborhood in Santa Cruz, West Cliff. Perfect home for large parties with six bedrooms. Very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

A Magical at Christmas at Villa de las Palmas

We so enjoyed our stay at Villa de las Palmas. We had ocean adventures, hiking adventures, fabulous feasts, games, and movies. All made possible by the perfect location of this wonderful property.Six very well appointed and wonderful bedrooms each with very comfortable beds. The very large family room was made inviting with couch space galore, large coffee tables, and a large screen smart TV. All in all perfect for puzzle making, reading, listening to music, watching movies, games, etc.The dining room table easily seats 10-12 and is conveniently right off the kitchen. With two additional entry/exit points there was never a traffic jam in the dining room.The kitchen is smallish, but well appointed. We made cookies, a Feast of the Seven Fishes meal one night, and New York Steak dinner another, using the stove, the grille, the oven, two separate prep sinks, cutting boards, and nearly every cooking & serving utensil and spice in the large stock available. (Eat your heart out Julia Child.)All in all I was a magical Christmas, and Villa de las Palmas was no small part of that. Finally, the host. Jill made herself available for any questions and was very accommodating of our requests. We have stayed at many VRBOs in the US and Europe. I can say, Jill is the most approachable and delightful host we have encountered.Villa de las Palmas is well recommended.

Wonderful week in this gorgeous home away from home! A comfortable, spacious retreat for our family to stay while celebrating a college graduation. Convenient location, well-appointed spaces to relax and unwind, a great kitchen, and a beautiful backyard area complete with hot tub!Perfect for our group of five, and could easily have fit several more. Communication was easy and helpful, and we felt very well taken care of...it was hard to leave!
