Surrounded by trees in a private garden courtyard setting, The Cabin at Castlebrook features all the amenities in a handcrafted rustic cabin. This family-owned cabin is secluded in a canyon, a few miles from Avila Beach and only 9 miles to San Luis Obispo.
Perfect for a relax, recharge & rejuvenate getaway, you'll fall in love with the surrounding nature and the luxurious charm of this rustic cabin, where you can choose your level of "unplugged". Great WIFI, satellite TV and excellent water pressure both inside and at the newly built outdoor shower, you'll find yourself reconnecting with yourself and your travel partners.
Enjoy the wildlife including visiting deer, foxes, owls, herons and our neighborhood bob cat. The lit courtyard, BBQ and porches provide ample space for relaxing, reading, writing and reflecting while preparing meals to enjoy inside or out. Perhaps a visit to one of SLO's famous Farmer's Markets or partaking from one of the many close-by activities - you can visit The Cabin at Castlebook's website for recommendations for great restaurants, markets, hiking and water sports at nearby beaches.
We have a charging station on site for those of you with electric vehicles. Just charge up overnight for your daily travel.
