This newly built cabin is remote and secluded. It is built on the hillside and in the woods directly above the South Fork of the Red River. Its main feature is the spectacular view of See Rocks (a named arch in the Red River Gorge), which can be enjoyed from the deck and master bedroom balcony. The living space is open and inviting. The cabin is ideally situated 15 minutes from the Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge, and the hiking, climbing, and recreational attractions the area offers.
Unique to this property are our 5 miles of private hiking trails and the only mountain biking trails in the area. You can literally hike or bike from the cabin's front door.
The cabin now has high-speed fiber Internet, so streaming movies or live sports is no longer an issue! This is a new upgrade to our area.

The cabin was even nicer than it was in the pictures, and the owners thought of lots of nice little touches to make it feel more homey. The host also put together a very useful guidebook, all about the area, hiking spots, and local wildlife. And the trails on the property were beautiful and challenging, great for when you want to do a hike close to home! We would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was so close to everything there was to do in Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing time. The view was beautiful as well.
The cabin was super clean and well stocked with everything we could need. Location was a short drive to all the things we wanted to do. Tom was super communicative throughout our stay
Great cabin in a remote location.
The property owner has big plans for this area and brings a sense of conservation to his entrepreneurial efforts.
Communication and cleanliness were key components to this property.
Would stay a third time!
We were there only briefly -- participating in the Jeep Jamboree. The cabin was clean, attractive, and a blessing to get to. Enjoyed getting out of Lex for a few days and the cabin was all it said it would be. Plan on returning some day for a longer stay! Communication was excellent from start to finish.
If you love outdoor adventures, the Red River Gorge is the place gor you, and if you love a quiet, secluded yet central place to stay, See Rocks Vista is the cabin you need to rent. From morning coffee on the covered porch, listening to the birds and watching the clouds over See Rocks, to ending the evening on the master balcony or by the fire pit, this cabin has all the scenery you need. The inside of the cabin is just as impressive as the outside. With a fully equipped kitchen, amazing amount of counter space, and a good selection of cookware, preparing meals at home is easy and enjoyable. The living area is very nice and comfortable for rainy day movies. The beds are comfortable and there arr plenty of blanets and covers to keep you warm. There are also box fans in each bedroom which was a welcome touch since we all use fans at home. The mudroom makes clean up after muddy hikes a breeze. The bathrooms are perfect with amazing water pressure. Only things you need to know:The roads to the cabin are in great shape, and the gravel to the cabin is well maintained but the cabin is on the side of a hill and the drive up to it is a bit steep. Our SUV had no problem making it, but if tou aren't used to that kind of terrain, the first time can be scary. The downstairs bathtub works well, but the upstairs tub stopper does not close, but the shower works properly.10/10 Recommend this property for ypur next big Red River Gorge adventure!
4 of us stayed at this cabin and loved it. If you are looking to get off the grid, this is your place. Not a soul in sight! Just trees and fresh air and spectacular view of the Daniel Boone National Forest.
Cabin is just as described and had everything we needed in kitchen!
Restaurants are 7-15 minutes away. Natural Bridge hiking was outstanding and close by. So many hiking options in the Gorge, hard to decide where to go.
The Host of this property is very responsive, helpful and friendly.
Would stay again!
What a great cabin! It's spacious, comfortable, warm and inviting! This gem is secluded and quiet. A great place to relax and enjoy. Tom was a wonderful host! He was great at communicating and if you need recommendations, he has those too!! It was great to sit on the porch and watch the rain storm roll in. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Tom, for sharing your home with us!!
Place was great and close to all areas of the gorge. Everything was new and clean. Will come back again for next hiking adventure. Especially enjoyed the Banksy book.
We had a great time! The cabin was so clean and beautifully decorated. The views from the cabin were amazing! Location was easily accessible to hiking trails and local attractions. Tom was very attentive and responsive with any questions we had. We would highly recommend staying here and we look forward to visiting again!
The property was quite nice and provided all the amenities we needed for a few days of peaceful relaxation in a serene setting. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of seating for us.

About the host

I’m a self-employed graphic designer who loves the outdoors and outdoor adventures. The Red River Gorge is a beautiful place that we fell in love with, and we want to share our South Fork Farm with you so you can create your own memories there.
Why they chose this property
The South Fork Farm is a third-generation farm nestled in the mountains and situated along the South Fork of the Red River. The farm runs along a secondary road that is both private and yet close to all of the area activities of the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. This makes it a relaxing, non-touristy location to enjoy the outdoors.
What makes this property unique
Our 100+ acre farm also offers on-property hiking trails, a river walk, a river deck, and a creek that guests can explore. These are shared spaces, but you will most likely have them to yourselves. Please message me for details and a trail map.
